question for supercharge guys

a friend of mine is trying to figure out if its possible to run underdrive pullies (pretty much the same pullies i have, underdriven water and powersteering pump pullies and only lightened alternator not underdriven)with his rotrex supercharger? apparently the company says that it will throw off the speed of the blower and will be a negative affect on the boost. but i was always under the impression that with pullies on a normal setup the speed of the belt, and the crank is always the same regardless to what the accessories are driven at. is this true? will pullies cause the blower to run at a differnt rpm?

if the crank pully is the same it will not affect the speed of the supercharger, but make sure the belt can still remain tight. it will most likely need a shorter belt.

a longer belt because underdrive pullies are actually bigger, lol lots of people including myself always thing smaller too when you think in terms of underdrive. but yes your right the crank pully is the drive pully on this system therefore it only makes sense that if you dont touch the size of the crank pully the belt will still run at the same speed regardless to what size the accesories are.. thanks ill relay that information
