Mitsubishi Turbo

I haven't found a thread talking about Mitsubishi turbo's on BMWs here. I have seen some on other sites, but I wanted your opinions of the TD06 turbo. Would this be a good buy for a custom turbo kit? Do you have any suggestions on any other turbo that you can find on stock cars? The goal is 350-400hp, after that it's practically useless in the streets.

That goal is some what unrealistic if your hoping to add a turbo found on a stock car. Very few stock cars come with turbos that will produce that much power. A stock turbo from an eclipse on a 2.0 liter engine produces just over 200hp, i don't think it would be worth your time to try to fabricate it onto a BMW. I'm not positive, but i'm sure that it won't be a direct bolt on and will probably end up costing your more money and time in the long run than just buying a nice aftermarket turbo kit. Not to mention the power numbers your looking for would be achieved much more easily from an aftermarket set up

I know that the TD06 is the turbo that comes on the AA stage 1 kit. That's why I asked.

Edit: A subaru STI turbo was also an option in mind, my bro has the stage 2 and gets around 400hp.
