If you get a charger of any description you will use it,,, everywhere! and it will double your consumption every time you use it and you will use it, everywhere!
JUST LIKE ME

I reckon you should change your engine for a stock 2.8 then tune that to around 240hp. All for less than the price of a supercharger for your 1.8.
Whichever way you go good luck and stick with it

Don't waste a penny on the electric fan crap. Don't ask for examples just take all these good peoples advice and trust them

I would stay away from "electical superchargers". It ends up being a quick buck for them and a slap in the face for you when nothing happens. On a side note, I witnessed something unbelievable back in October at our car clubs dyno day. A Ford Ranger 4 banger put down 23whp over stock with the aid of a Stihl leaf blower. Now that was some serious F/I. I'll see if I can find some pics.
