Eaton Supercharger for 520i e34

Hello all, back again with my S/C queestions:P

found this supercharger for a great price
http://www.capa.com.au/eaton_m45data.htm
and wondered if anybody knows if it will fit into my 520i E34 -94 in any way? or if its really really impossible to make it fit with some custom metalwork?

would be really great if i could get a quick reply since I've been looking for a long time and this i just a superb deal!(aprox 600$)

One friend of mine is has considered the same mod to 1989 520i, that's of course with m20 as yours is m50. But it's still possible.

You need to create some installation braces for the supercharger so you can attach it securely to block. Then you need drive pulleys for the belt and some hoses etc... Intercooler wouldn't hurt either. Enginemanagement needs to be updated and with higher boosts you need bigger fuel injectors. Or more of them.

Du är från Stockholm... Jag vet en projekt i Finland, men jag är säkert at du inte kan finska?

MvH,

Ville

Ahh oki sounds great, those facts ad up with mine but wont be running on high boosts until i get good pistons.. and a camshaft to go with it...

well...thats my thought, if there are any braces that are made for this combo or where i could look for it? thats the main problem...the rest will be solved in a blink

I don't know of any "prefabricated" braces, some have constructed them selves. See http://www.btcf.fi/forum/showthread.php?t=35409 for one supercharger project, its a 325i e30 cabriolet.

Jag är finsk och bor i Helsinki, svenska är den tredje språk jag försöker att tala... Jag tycker att några nordboar läser denna forum, men skriver inte.

well i know a lot of people make the eaton M90 work for the scirocco's 1.8L so im sure that is very doable for your M50 as stated before you will need to make a custom SC bracket, then you will have to tackle the tuning and fuel, but thats not rocket science...
