Jllphan, what's the story on those angel eyes? I'd really, really like to get some (my car looks a good deal like yours) but the set you bought runs something like $600 or so, way out of my range. Would I be able to achieve close to the same looks/function with the $100/$200 DDE set that the website sells and keep my humble plastic headlight setups? (Heh, the whole front end is brand new, after all.)

Yes, my hood is misaligned. I never noticed it, until it was pointed out in this thread (how you could tell, I'll never know). It's very minor, but something I plan to address in the spring. The car was involved in a minor accident years ago, and I guess it was never alligned perfectly upon repair.
24 valve: Honestly I would save up and upgrade to the ellipsoid style headlights. The DDE (rings) are cool, but I only got them as an upgrade from the standard ellipsoids. The Eurospec ellipsoids not only look great, but greatly improve nightvision. You could add these, and in time add the DDE to them. Feel free to PM me with any other questions.

jllphan your car is the kind of car that is going to attract more people to the e36. I love how the eyes and lids make it look like it will rip your face off if you let it get dirty. treasure that car forever man, its a beaut.
Not lookin so bad yourself there. I don't care how dated 5stars are these days, they look so damn proper on an e36. Always wanted one of these cars, and finally wen't back and got one. Glad I did.
