I found this over at BigCoupe.com(e24 forum)
it is a tight video on how to make angel eyes... :rule :rule :rule
I'm going to try this ad a later date(when i get rid of the sealed beams....) and i'll compare the 6's home made to the seven's(in transit....) pro made ones.....
Heres the Linky!!! How To Create Custom LED Angel Eye Rings
Ruin that car with angel eyes and I'll stab you in the face.
Seriously, adding them to an e34... alright. fine... maybe. Don't trash that 6 series by putting a bunch of crap that doesnt belong on it. BMW made that car perfect the first time. If that specific car was meant to have angel eyes, they would have been an option.
I can't tell you how ugly I think that car would look with angel eyes. I just went out and looked at mine... it wouldn't work. wouldn't even come close to looking "right"
you wouldn't make it the koala will attack you with a spoon
yes the e34 BTW looks ok with angel eyes. i've seen a six with eagle eyes and it looked good in my opinion.
Yes bmw did a very good job designing the car from the start. if it was PERFECT nobody would ever mod them at all so no there not perfect just really close.and if they do look bad you know what i can just take them out of just leave them off. the only major flaw with these cars was that you counld get it in auto....
Still fing with the 740's ones.... there a TIGHT fit.... there CCFL's so cant bend them....
lol yay we FINALLY agree on something....... :rule
The sevens lights are FINALLY wired up.... waiting for the ring to come the RULE they sent me a full new kit no charge! They rock the socks!
All i did was call and said one ring was bad and gave them the order Number and they said a new kit is being sent out that day should be here soon so im gonna run 4 ballests and not 2 and I'll have 3 extra rings.....:rule
running 4 ballests seems to make the dimming and lighting with the interior lights smoother and kick one faster when the switch is used.....
Went to Lowes to get the blind wand and they only have star shaped ones. I asked if they could get different ones and they told me no. I was like you only have one chioce for replacement ones and they should have more of a selection. They told me I don't know what I was talking about.
So I told they to bugger off and I was going to Home Depot. They have never failed me.

To each their own, but unless my car came with those types of headlights, I can't understand why this modification is needed/wanted. The factory ones on the later BMWs look okay, but with zero function. Again, to each their own.
Those videos are like a trainwrecks where you can't believe what you're seeing, yet you keep looking in complete amazement. Found myself laughing at all of the unneeded work involved. Had to mute that music, too.
Sorry if I offend anyone. Just my feckless opinion and my old fashioned theory of function over electric cosmetics.
