perhaps you are using out of specification tires that are too big for your wheelwells?

Tirerods are not your problem :-)

a/c recharge with out vacuuming your system, may have caused your "isn't cold" problem. Proper way is to have a tech, evacuate and vacuum test your A/C system before you introduce your freon.

Have you checked your power steering fluid level? If it's low, that's a sound you would hear while turning the wheel.

yeah sounds like power steering... it is like a squeeling when you turn the wheel... turn the car off and try to turn the wheel if it goes away it is the Power assist Pump or just low fluid......
