Which BMW is right for me?

Im new here and I recently joined this forum because im looking for a new car. I've always loved BMWs since my dad has 2. Im looking for a low cost high reliability bimmer that I can modify myself. With a budget of only 4500 i need help choosing. Any suggestions?

I think a serious hunt for a good E30 (the 3 series from about 1984 to 1991+) is worth a try.

E30 84' to 91'



E36 92' to 98'
