3M Headlight restoration lens system

I just bought the 3M headlight restoration system for around 15$, but have not tried it yet on my crazed headlights.

Has anybody tried this kit? and looking at this, do you think it something worth trying??

It may well be. And it is for really oxidized headlights. Once done and for newer headlights, the prevent method is best: car wax all plastic lenses as you would the car paint. Yes it works; my mom's 2002 Jetta proved it.

I believe i have polycarbonate lenses on my headlights, and the result of 9 years of UV/heat deterioration(and a possible clear coat as suggested by VIP employee[how credible, really]) , it appears to be crazed. Crazed like a fine network of nerves.

I had the Headlight ASSY completely apart, thinking it was originally on the inside lense.

That seems like a need for new lenses.
