Wrx...or at least i think

anyways when i was driving on the 405/605 i forget but traffic was very light at night and i notice a wrx pacing me and the guy keeps glancing at me...i was like whatever i was tired and just going 60. then he starts speeding up and slowing down and so i decided to play with him...when he pulled away a bit and started slowing down i double clutched to 4th and floored it i kept pulling away all the way to redline then i went to 5th and i couldnt see him in my mirrors anymore...but it was definitely a subaru..and it had the fugly lights of the wrx so...did i kill a wrx or a different car made by subaru?

if he was trying, you couldve have beaten him, jetlback330ci at the planet said he was dead even with one up to 100 (stopped after that)......it was prolly a wrx looking car...? but maybe he wasnt trying

wrx you would have been beaten. it can beat anything but an M3. and the upcoming Sti will beat the M3 in the straight i think

i dunno he didnt start to really dissapear in my mirror until 100-120 and i couldnt see him anymore

donut, actually with the STI accelerating from 0-60 in 4.87 i believe i will PWNZ that shiz, the evo, i will not, from a dead stop to 60 that is

im pretty sure it was a wrx because it had the wrx front end...from the rear i know it looks like the 2.5 rs i believe is what its called. but he had to be trying he started it...i couldnt hear his engine because i was screaming to redline so i dunno...but like i said i didnt start to really pull on him until i went past 100 to 120

WRX and RS has the exact new body. maybe it was a RS. i dont know.

I'm guessing it was a 2.5RS, because the WRX is a pretty damn fast car. they're dead even with the mule sometimes...

C&D had a Sti vs Evo comparrison in the new issue and the Evo did 0-60 in like 5sec whats the deal? how does that beat a M3 <_< i know its supposed to be alot faster but maybe it was all BS.

if it was a standard wrx import from japan than could still be restricted to 120 mph, so its quite easy to whoooop ass... i have a 2000 awd turbo in my show room, and i took that to 120mph from standing start it got there quick but i found that there is sooooo much turbo lag it wasnt as responsive as the "power of 6" from the Bm.

LoL WRXs have no low end torque and even when it does... it creeps up on ya untill ITS ALREADY ON YA AND YOUR LEIK WOW I DIDNT SEE IT COMIN WIZZO. Like a lizard. They have a claimed 230 hp or something close. That means take 15 away and thats what you have at the crank. Since its AWD take away another 30 and thats probly what you got at the wheels. 190. Not that impressive. And it might not have been a WRX. The only visible difference on the WRX and RS are the wheels and the spoiler. WRX spoiler is mighty cool. the turbo in the Rex isn't itty bitty. It's a mitsu TD04. They're good for 18PSI...

are you talking about the STIs? Im pretty sure the current 01-03 doesnt use a mitsu turbo.. Or at least thats what i thought. Bah im used to workin with the 14b , now thats a damn good turbo for when it was made.

evo does 0-60 in 4.59 i think (from the latest MT) and i can believe that number because with 272hp and 3000lbs, that things gotta motor.....
