Simply this. I am a Subaru junkie. There are only a few affordable cars I would buy before I bought a WRX. But coincidentaly they are all Subaru's.

1. 1992-1997 Subaru SVX (already owned 5)
2. 1992-1999 Impreza Spec C
3. 1992-1999 Impreza 2.5 RS (had one with a Spec C motor in it)
4. 2004-.... STi
5. 2000-.... WRX

I could go on and on about these cars and Subarus are my specialty. It would be better if you just asked me questions if you want. But I will say this, the WRX tranny needs some improvement.

I have the 05 STi and LOVE it! It was difficult at first going from the M3 to the STi, but I learned fast!

for style and comfort the M3. For driving and destroying all oncomers...STI.

The WRX has a boxer engine with it's own distinct(seductive) growl. If you want to know anything, there are a number of Subie lovers on here, including me. Last Summer I got to visit friends in 4 major cities, and I made it a point to test drive an STi in each city. CMGO will attest, they are ungodly fast
