Yeah, so I'm a Marine, and we had Physical Training last Monday.. we finished up at this new parking lot that hasn't been swept yet.. still a little grit and stuff on it... so it was a bit slippery.. I always go out there and slide and do donuts and stuff... So I did a couple...... No cars were that close... well, apparently someone only likes donuts they can eat... yeah, someone chased me down to get my plate... then reported me to the Base Police... So PMO called me up.. "Umm, you need to come down here and collect this ticket... " so I go down, and they give me a ticket for "reckless driving"!! So I had two choices... plead guilty, get 6 pts (12 pts in one year max) and a remedial driving course, or go to court, lose, and lose my base driving priveliges for 90 days... ummmmm ... yeah, what would you do?
Anyways, the best part of the story... it happened on base.. and they don't report to civilian insurance companies!!! allright!
p.s. the only part that really pisses me off is that some bastard reported me, but didn't have the balls to confront me... probably just jealous... damn ricers/trucks are the majority out here in NC.
Drive on, Bimmerheads.

F**k man, that blows major. I always thought that the call in tickets couldnt be valid, unless a cop actually witnesses it. Because otherwise, its your word against the accuser. If that method were actually allowed, if somebody didnt like someone else they could just call it in and the other person gets f'ed. But maybe the rules are different on military bases. But then again, are base police actually allowed to give out real tickets? Are they considered the same authority as real cops? What else are they able to ticket, parking in restricted zone...nothing else I can think of.
Good thing our corporate security at work cannot do jack about pretty much anything, save for towing people parked in a handicap spot. THeir reactions are priceless when I just blow through an empty stop sign with a guard behind me, or just whiz past one on a long stretch of empty road going 45mph when speed limit is 15 (I think, never bothered to pay attention) THe worst they can do is flash my lights or possibly even *gasp* confront me in person and tell me to slow down! *gasp*

yeah that does sound a little fishy. i'd just suck it up. if u took it to court it'd be ur word against his. i only do donuts when thers no one around just to make sure.

it would be sort of funny and ironic if you got fired for that.
that sucks alot of it makes you feel ANY better hear this story out...
I am leaving a HS football game (when I was in HS) and I left a little bit later b/c my best friend played... I leave get about on a mile away from the school (school is in a bad part of town) get pulled over in the middle of a left hand turn with lights and noise and all that SHHHHIT... I pull over I'm scared shitless and the cops go to either side of my car and bang on both the windows at the same time, I roll down my front windows and they were like "that’s a pretty nice red BMW for a young girl like you to have" and I was like "umm thank you?" and they were like "so where did ya pick it up?" I was like HUH? And so one told the other to go run the plates... he asked for insurance and drivers license all that and goes "see I knew it the insurance it out to Rick Lindsay, poor guy probably doesn't even know the car is gone" and I was like "Rick Lindsay is my dad" well they both go back to the car and make me sit there for like 20 min.... they finally come back and give me 2 tickets for "running a stop sign" and "going 50 in a 40” I was just stunned didn't know what to do, so I went home explained to my parents all that I had to go to COURT for this shit, I went to court, fought it, lost, got $540 in fines had to take defensive driving, do 100 service hours and was on PROBATION FOR A YEAR! Wanna talk about a fucked up system... I got more penalties for that then the guy, that same week, got that plead guilty to raping a 7 year old girl...
