The H-word Accent hatch thingy, eary 90's maybe mid 90's pulls up next to me at a light. As he is pulling up I hear this buzzing noise. I turn my stereo down... it gets a little louder, I roll down my window and turn stereo off and realize it's his engine. He revs more at the light, I roll the window back up so that way if he's engine blew it would have to get through glass first, plus the smell of burning oil was pretty bad. The light changes and off he goes... engine.... doing whatever his does... sputter, knock ping and burn oil? maybe? and I shift at about 4k starting to walk, even with him shift to 2nd at 4.5 k then stop at the next light. He's looking at me. Light turn'd I actually do a spirited take off and he's behinde enough by the time I'm climbing second that I get over (needed to turn left any way) finish running it up to about 50 mph shifting to third around 35 mph. I get my food (Taco bell) pull back out get stopped by the first light. I look to my left and who is it? But the same car. So this time, I actually tried, was kinda getting tired of this. And of course he was no where to be seen. What a waste of gas...
Yeah, in my town they all drive the Civics and the V6 Mustangs. :-/ At least the V6 Mustangs don't all have those 52" tubes sticking out the back. I HATE that noise. Damn!
What a loser. Maybe the smelly, smoking oil is a new feature; like a car-jack deterrant. (But surely that badge on the bonnet does that anyway? )
