Well it finally happened, had my GT for over a year and now finally I see the FUCKING flashing lights behind me for the first time ghead . Complete stupidity on my part for some reason I was traveling 140km/h in a 70km/h zone, dont ask me why, actually some fag in a Mazda 3 was pissing me off so i gunned it to 140 ya I am an idiot I know. But anywayz whats done is done and now I have to think of how to fight this thing. The ticket says 'speeding' not 'racing' thank god, and the cop didn't seem to give a shit that its my first offence. What do u guys think about the "X Copper" thing I hear about? Im thinking of going with that, has anyone done this before? Well I'm open to other suggestions if u guys have any...
Dude...people have second cars....and this forum has some good tech info.
Let's not jump the gun...besides, who cares about what he drives. As long as he's not constantly claiming his car is better than a bmw, like countless amount of trolls do, whats the problem??
About your ticket dude....I've never tried the links about fighting your ticket...I always just pay mine and take the loss.
ok if some of u guy aren't going to help me because I drive a Mustang thats just stupid if u ask me. If u've read the other sections u see I have respect for BMW, and we are all drivers, so if u guys wanna help me out then do so... and if not then I don't want your help since u are obviously immature and stupid anyway.
I don't think there is anything like that, however, one time a friend of mine got pulled over for speeding and the cop told him to write an essay about how speeding is wrong and stuff lol. He did it and they didn't charge him... damn I why didn't I get that option
140 in a 70 zone is rough...as far as advice...i have none...except...if ur gona speed do it on the hwy...or at least dont do 70 over ...try to stay in the 30 over range...lol
Honestly man, there isn't much you can do. Fines are double on the highway aren't they? And I believe if you're going double the speed limit there is a possibility you may lose your license. IMHO, all you can do is pray. Good luck though, I hope you find a way out or everything works out.

Hmm....LOL..Evryone is talken like they never speed..LOL..Look...I have had countless tickets....not one on my record...even though I am on probation at the moment..but that will be up in about 4 days.....so heres what ya do..go to the DA....really...if you go and let them know that you are truly sorry for making a stupid mistake..then they will most of the time keep it off yr record..You will have to pay though...you cant get around that..just try to get keep it off yr record....Stress that you gladly will pay any fine just KEEP IT OFF YR RECORD....Try it....
Whoa whoa... hold on there....
Let me tell you my story, I was caught doing 90mph in a 65mph zone. The cop was decent i guess and told me to argue it. Ok so I went to court and while waiting for my turn, i got to hear others that were there for pretty much the same reason... speeding. From the other people that were there, most of them... no wait ALL OF THEM lost thier license for 30 days! If they had just taken the ticket and NOT gone to court they would've just paid a big fine and had larger insurance but that's it.
One kid did 93mph, lost license, $280 fine + insurance premiums, and 30 day suspension, AND when he gets his license back, he'll have 4 points on it. I got lucky, real lucky, 3mph less than that kid and I just got away with a 2 point reduction and a $280 fine (it would've been a 4 point ticket at $217).
I couldn't afford a lawyer, though if you can, it's advisable, they can usually pull something out of thier ass that makes sence to a judge. And it really depends on the judge, he makes all the rules! It's all his/her way. If it's an old dude, expect to get nailed.
Hope this makes you think about it.

Dont waste your money on a lawyer, or your time in court. Just leave the country, simple as that. I used to live in Mexico, but got a speeding ticket and now live in the USA.
I'm not sure how it works in canada but here in the states if you go to court and talk to the DA, the DA will either get it dropped or reduced. Since you were doing twice the limit i highly doubt it will be dropped.
