| so yesterday i was heading over to the shopping center to meet up with some friends. i was on a 3 lane boulevard, 1 lane going the opposite way, and 2 lanes on the other side, 1 for turning, 1 to go straight through an intersection. the intersection was about 60 ft infront of the entrance to the shopping center. i turn left into the shopping center with my blinker on, and as i pull in, a nissan maxima pulls out trying to catch the green light and taps my back left corner. at this point i cringe and go "OH GOD NO, ANY CAR BUT THIS ONE!", as i pull into the bank parking lot sobbing, awaiting massive damage to my paint job, and rear end, i get out and just see a small scratch on the rear bumper next to my wheel.
the nissan had a pretty big rash on the front bumper. the lady said she was going to try and fight it, because she didnt see my turn signal. but i had friends sitting in their cars at tacobell who saw me turn into the shopping center, and vouched for me that my turn signal was on, (which it was), not that it would matter anyway, i still had right of way.
anyway i was kind of mad that this lady said she had a case. but anyway while i was out partying last night my dad called the lady up and found out that she was actually the mother of one of my friends from soccer, which my dad had coached. so she admitted she was at fault and is paying for the scratch when i get an estimate...
soo not too bad, still my first accident, im kind of sad
