you guys aren't going to believe this, i went to this local computer store and on the way back, i stopped to get some beer for my dad, i parked and my mom went in to get the beer, well i turned the headlights off and just had the parking lights on, then she gets in the car and i'm driving home, as i turn into my neighborhood, the entrance is by a gas station, i took the corner really fast just to piss off my mom, well there was this lexus pulling out of the gas station, into the road that's the entrance to my neighborhood, well i turned in fast, and the lexus kept pulling out, and i was like omg is this lexus gonna hit me, well i pull in and the lexus kept coming so i hit the brakes and i'm like wtf, then i relize this is no ordinary lexus this is SANDY'S LEXUS, omg i almost hit the girl i like, OMG, OMG, well i smile and wave and she waves back, then i pull into my neighborhood i'm like omg that was sandy, then i pull into my driveway, guess what no white shine on the garage door, OMG I NEVER TURNED THE LIGHTS BACK ON, i didn't notice because the street from the liquor store to my neighborhood has a bunch of street lights, and it's a busy shopping area, THEN I'M LIKE OMG NO WONDER SHE ALMOST HIT ME I DIDN'T HAVE THE LIGHTS ON, so now i'm gonna call her and try to come up with a reason why the headlights weren't on, i always brag about how good of a driver i am, she can't know that i forgot to turn on the headlighs

well i'm gonna call her see what happens

In most states, since he was driving with a licensed driver (Mom), he was fine. You can get a learner's permit in Ohio at 15 1/2 that allows for that.

omg do i have to make a new addition to my sig, i have a permit, have had it since a few months after i turned 15, i took a 2 week drivers ed thing, A+ of course, and i took my driving test for my license through the driver's ed place, you're allowed to miss like 11 points, well i missed one for not motioning to the pedestrians, wtf, lol, so yeah i have a permit and it's 155 days till i can get my license, woot, i started counting the days at like 250 so i'm doing good lol, you have to be 16 and one month to get a license, so i turn 16 on march 15th then 30 days after that is april 14th, and then on april 15th friday, i will go take the written test to get my license, woot

Isn't it dangerous to let a unexperience driver to drive around..even driving with a licensed driver. Learners permit license driver should only drive in a learning car not in a normal car..

Well everyone has to start from the bottom and be "unexperienced"

In the UK you can drive without havinbg a full drivers liscence-U have to have a provisional liscence and you have to be in the car with a pssenger who has had a full drivers liscence for 5 years or more....

You can apply for a provisional 3 months before your 17

PJV 528,
Hmm..Provisional license means..That u are only eligible to drive the learning car.Not the normal car.
Even if the person who pass his/her driving license...doesn't mean he/she can drive alone anywhere they want..The person must drive under adult supervision for at least few mths. until he/she really knows how to use the road correctly.

Thats the law here....I think my country follows UK.. since it's under britain before 1984..

hahahahaha, the test score doesn't mean that you will be a good driver. it just means you can remember crap from a book. You don't even have your license yet, so you haven't driven alone. In three or four years maybe you can come back on here saying your experienced, until then just admit you made a stupid mistake, we all do that crap sometimes. Just remember for as long as you've been driving, there are people out there that have driven alot longer.

btw, good luck with the girl.

shahabm, m3dude, whatever the fcuk you wanna call yourself today you really really really sound like a total arrogant little prick.

When will you learn that being a good driver is not about driving fast round corners? Anyone can drive fast! It doesn't take any intelligence or skill to put your right foot down! Damn, I've seen video of a chimp driving a car so don't go boasting that you're something special just because you can.

Good driving is based on the driver being 100% aware of his surroundings at all times. Evidently, this is something you lack. You have now admitted that you missed a point in your test for not motioning to a pedestrian.

Yeah yeah yeah, you can laugh about it all you want, just think how much you would be laughing if you hit a pedestrian. Just think how much you would be laughing if someone you loved was hit by some idiot driving like a prick.

So ok, that's one minor indiscretion. Admittedly, everyone makes mistakes so I guess we should let you off.

However.... you now almost cause an accident smashing into some young girl in a lexus because you're so dumb you drive without your lights on!

How can you brag about being a good driver? You don't even have a license or a car. Yeah I know you're too young but this is my point. Driving should be something you do with care & attention. A car, be it some little 60hp rust bucket or a 507hp monster should be something you treat & use with respect. It is infinitely more powerful than you, and infinitely stronger than some pedestrians head so for fcuks sake drive carefully.

And if you're reading this thread thinking that this should not apply to you cos even though you're 15 and a half "i'm the world's greatest driver and schumacher should be shaking in his lederhosen i'm gonna show the world just how cool i am and then i can bone sandy and i won't have to bang one out 17 times per day" then I only have 1 more thing to say to you - STFU and go back to being a computer nerd.

That is all.

since when do you have to do drivers ed to get a permit..? ive got a friend who lives in ohio and ive never heard anything like that, in the majority of states you have to drive a certain number of hours then take a student driver course for a certain number of hours to get your lisence. before that you take a test to get your permit, and the tests you take are about shit like: what color is a stop sign?. saying you got a fucking A+ on one is like saying you passed second grade math.

anyway if your that worried about what some little chick thinks then you obviously have self confidence issues and besides if you knew her well you would be laughing with her about this kinda shit instead of worrying your ass off. who is named sandy anyway lmao?

wow here i am busy owning ammomaniak in the lounge and i totally forgot about this thread, in my defense, i never claimed to be an experience driver, and i know driving fast around corners doesn't mean shit, i'm not trying to show off, and that whole thing about missing a point for not motioning to the pedestrian, dude i had stopped at the stop sign and waited for the person to go in front of me, i know that being 100% aware of your surroundings is the key to good driving that's the fist thing my dad taught me, he said your not out there to prove your manhood, and you have to always be aware, and that's what i do, i don't claim to be the best driver, but i do claim that i am more experienced than your average 15 year old, and i know from first hand experience that that is true, and i'm sorry if i came off like a total little arrogant prick, and yes i admit driving 200 feet form the liquor store to my neighborhood with the lighs off was a stupid mistake, and i didn't nearly crash into the girl in the lexus

Its all good man, everyone makes mistakes. Just don't get too confident about driving because as soon as you do, you will probably crash.....and I'm not just saying that. When I was your age and I first got my liscense, I was damn good at driving go carts (had one), jet skis, 4 wheelers, and i had even piloted a small plane once or twice off the runway and back (my dad was in the plane but taught it all to me). Anyway, I started driving at 16, and for the next year or two, I did some of the most dangerous car driving I've ever done. Me and my friend would do 85 in a 25 over a hill that had driveways on either side that you couldn't see. We were so stupid. I'm just saying don't be like I was. Like Eboy1978 said, care and attention. You are driving a 3000 bomb .The feeling you get when you lose control and might hit HARD really really sucks. Your stomach will go up in your throat and it will make you never want to be as risky again. Learn from everyone else's mistake, not that you did something that bad, but just cause if you do get your M, which I hope you do, you can't be doing dumb shit with that car. It will kill someone really quick if they don't treat it with respect. just be careful with it, it will tempt you a lot trust me.

AMG can't build an NA engine that can compete with M engines, so they stick in a supercharger and say their cars are faster. BMW could simply do the same, but they don't out of principle.
