My mom and I were in her M3 going to the gas station
and I see this black 5 coming towards us and I'm like "oh theres a new 5" then there was an x3 behind it and I'm like "oh there's that thing" then there was another 5 behind it..and I was like wtf is going on...then there was a BMW in a whole black body suit
and then I was like wtf
thats so cool they are testing Bimmers, on the plates it had DST on it...and behind that it looked like the new m5 so. Me and my mom were like wtf is going on...so we turned around...then followed them
. we were behind a new silver 5 with 4 exhaust pipes and I was like wtf is that an m5 too.. so we are following the cars down soledad canyon...its seculuded. The cars are doing around 80 and we are keeping up with them and Im jazzed out of my mind
. I was so anxious to see what the one in the black body suit was..it had m style mirrors but the tires werent that wide, and it was 4 doors. So the bad thing was we were low on gas so I was liek FUCK I want to keep following them
. So after we were out of the canyon the bimmers didnt get on teh freeway. In my mind I was saying PLEASE STOP AND GET GAS PLEASE (cuz we needed it )and with all the luck in the world I see the guy in the silver 5 signal to the others and they pull in chevron....the x3 and the black 5 pull in and the others drove away.....I jumped out of the car ran in the gas station bought a camera then ran over to the black 5 and I said "excuse me is that the new m5?" and the guy had a german accent and was like
" I dont know" and I said "damn you cant tell me huh" I walked around the car and took some pics and I was like "this is an m5, look at the bumper" then I looked at the back and saw the exhaust and the guy was like "laughing and said its aftermarket" then I looked at the guages and the shifknob and the wheels...and I said this is an M5. And the guy winked at me lol. The guy in the X3 was infront of him getting gas and I asked where they were from, and he said volk consulting and they worked for BMW and had come from oxnard. I asked the guy if they had been driving through the desert and he said they had 8 diff routes. After we put gas in my moms car we drove up next to the m5 and he reved for us and he was like "v10" it was loud, then the X3 guy was talking about how the X3 was bad on gas blah blah..I got some pics of the M5 alone and a pic of it with my moms car. I have to get the pics developed then scan them
