I was driving home to New Jersey from Cornell this past weekend. I bought my friend's Escort off him this past winter, because there are tons of State and Local Police on the highways on my way down. On I-79, I-380, I-80, etc... its annoying. So now with my radar I can cut my trip down by about 30-45 min.
But I digress. I was crusin on I-380 in PA going about 120 or so, but if anyone knows 380, it has many hills. I was making great time and hadnt picked up any cops yet. I probably should have slowed down, becasue I got to a section where there is a series of about 5-6 steep downhills and then steep uphills, but I just decided to floor it on the up hills to keep going about 110-115 or so. Anyways, as I get to the crest of the last hill I think I'm home free but then my radar goes CRAZY
It is dusk, so it is getting hard to see, but I see the cop pull out of the bushes and put on his lights. I look around and see the last exit for like 5 miles, so I dart across two lanes and just barely get the exit. I continue on the exit ramp and get to a light. Since I cant see well, I almost turn into a military base.
Making a quick U-turn I head down a seemingly deserted road, only a few houses and some boarded up businesses. I see a truck pulled over on the side of the road for the night, so I pull up behind him, hiding myself from the road. I get out and go up on a little hill to see if i can see up the road. I sit on a little hill and wait for about 15min. No signs of a cop. I call my friend to get me back on the highway but about 5miles down. He gets me back on and I sail home, but this time only doing 85 so as not to attract attention.

it totaly is man.... lol u instantly assess the situation and if u think u have a sliver of chance u floor it and start dipin down roads and lookin for a place to hide haha.

Hahaha yea... at first when I saw him pull out, all i was thinking was gettin the hell off the highway. After I was able to hid and gather myself, then I thought that I probably could have gotten jailed and my car impounded... but that wont stop me from driving fast hahaha...

Ummm I am not sure, it is off I-380 in PA, i think near exit 6 or something like that, the exit i took was like only 5miles or so from the I-80 entrance....
Sorry I dont know the name.... but I think it was a base, bc there were gaurds with guns and military esq vehicles at the entrance, but it was dusk and hard to see...

Well... you can always say it wasn't you driving. If they didn't get your face on camera how can they know it wasn't your family member or friend or... They can't give out a ticket based on what they think... only what they know.
