starting with the weather; nice breeze, clear and sunny...what more can i ask for. Well took the car out with my bro and his friend. We got stares left and right! Its like my car is like hot pink or some weird color cuz everybody was eyeing my car in amazement. I kinda like the attention :P
We went to the dealership around here (VOB BMW in rockville MD for the locals) which we met up with my mom and her friend. We went and found a beautiful Cosmo Black M Roadster. My mom was very interested in it and "may" buy it instead of that Z3 3.0 we were eyeing. My mom asked if I wanted to test drive it (a first) since I was the only guy who knew how there and i said "OH hell yes!" So yeah I test drove it. It was the fastest car I've ever drove! i dont drive many cars so it was fast to me! See..im used to my car..which I press the gas rather heavy...the M roadster when I drove it...it just reved so high..i gotta drive it with a lighter foot :P Oh man....what a fun machine! Oh the power. I must admit that it is def not a vehical for vacations. I would get so uncomfortable within a few hours of driving. Did you know that the steering column is not adjustable! I thought that was kinda cheap.
At the dealer....we were outside debating on price and such; we were about 15 feet away from my car (it was parallel parked on the side) and this man approached to my car. He was in his late 40s/late 50s and was checkin out my ride! I tried not to pay attention to my car so I can see what he would do. He was at my car looking, bending down to see my rims, checkin inside my car, switching views, the works for about 2-3 whole mins. I was actually trying to time it. HAHAHAHHA
nice story! today was gorgeous, which is very rare nowadays. did you drive the m roadster or the Z3? it's crazy the steering column isn't adjustable, because i beelive the Z4 i drove was adjustable. VOB is very popular, i wonder why it's more popular than tischer. all bmw's i see have the ring aruond the liscence plate saying VOB. i've never been to that one before, i should check it out.
you get a lot of attention i'm assuming from the ACS wheels. they're so nice and rare B)

ACS rims are very popular in other places not around here. Its very rare here for some reason? I test drove the M roadster and it was insanely fast. I would think almost quick as an E46 M3. I honestly like Tischer better. The area is larger, it is off of 29 which is like speed heaven, and the ppl there are nicer (we bought 2 bimmers from them already) VOB on the other hand...no space what so ever, that place is just cramped, asking for accidents.
Nice woobie, you lucky bastage!! That dude checking out your car was probably looking for the 'For Sale' sign! You could have probably swindled him out of enough cash to put down on that M Roadster!
I see tons of VOB here in VA, I'm guessing there is one here too.

If I had money I would rather be a Hamman guy [/b][/quote]
hamann is a little more, radical then ACS, sometimes almost "ricer-ish"
