ok so like my other post said for today...I went to hooters and a concert in Sf...btw the was fucking awesome...but the way there it was raining at my house. First rain in three months...so i was takking it very slow. Of course i have to drive that godamed windy road to get outa this place so i was on that road going about 25 if that..rpm's were pretty low in third. I was going around some turns...car kinda felt like it was slipping..so i was considering down shifting..but no time before next turn so i leave it be..of course theres traffic behind me, so i take this turn at 25 if that(normally a 35 turn)and i feel my front tires slipping..Im like shit...ok no panic i got passengers..so i continue turning and the rear gives out then the front..im in a four wheel drift at the end of a turn...i let the car do its thing and it slightly enters other lane(opposing traffic) and luckly no on coming traffic was coming, and the car whips back uinder control..I slightly brake down shift and keep going...but godamit was i scared out of my fucking mind. Im happy that it turned out like it did...I didnt correct or anything..did every as I should have..but still shit its scary. Cars behind me seemed freaked out..and so was i.
Yeah no kidding, these canyon runs we were doing last night, I almost flew off the cliff more than a few times. Spiff has a vid of me almost dying, lol, it'll be uploaded soon.

That is all
whoa! Thats scary dude!
we have this Jackie Robison Parkway out here in New York City and it has, by far, the sharpest hairpin curves I've ever seen (it cuts through a Cemetary and gets real dark at night). Its just two narrow lanes and goes downhill all the way from Queens to Brooklyn. The road is smooth so your car will speed up for you without the pedals.
One rainy night I was going home and got on there. I was already going 60 and it was too late to slow down, and at that time I had these worn out 185 65 R 15 TOYO tires that would not grip anything. They tended to slip sideway when I braked hard at high speeds.
I cut the first curve and tried to brake but the rears started slipping towards the stone wall. All traffic behind me slowed down and switched lanes as if they were certain I was going to hit the wall and flip. I almost pissed myself but I just let the car speed up naturally to like 65 and kept cutting the turns without braking until the end when it evened out and the road went straight. It was scary cause I suck at high speed turns and plus it was like the second week after I bought my car.

dude seriously i was getting ready to shit bricks...lol
i feel you man...but again today my passengers were happy with my job at regaining control...although i just let the car do its own thing i kept my kool.
that road doesnt sound half as bad as the ones we got around here...its funny cause they were just fixing the pavement on that road i was driving....it was brand new flat pavement...no grits....so that prolly didnt help with the oil that was on the road cause it was the first rain in a while
