New M5 Spanks Gt-r Skyline

Just went down to the shops and saw a brand spanking new ///M5, blue with trader plates. {not yet rego'd but with workshop plate}

He is sitting at the lights when a R33 GT-R pulls along side.
we all know the new ///M5's capability's, this GT-R is a local and is putting down around 550rwhp.

The GT-R gives a little rev, the ///M5 gives a bigger rev. well this is on The pair wind up for launch {i assume the ///M5 used the launch control}

Light goes green, the ///M5 squats, little wheelspin and hooks up well. the GTR squats, wheelspining hard.
First to second shift the ///M5 gains a good car length, GTR now fully hooked up, big chirp from the ///M5
Run thru second gear, the ///M5 is pulling hard, but the GTR isnt laying down.
Into third with a big chirp from the GTR and the ///M5 pulls some more {Gotta love that SMG}
Into fourth and they are gone, still running hard {I can hear the skyline's 4" exhaust}
They shutdown when the skyline hits the top of fourth.
From what i could see, the ///M5 just handed the skyline its ass, its first kill and its not even rego'd yet !!!!!

The sound, oh God the sound, its wonderfull, howling, quite, but intent.

just to clarify, this skyline ran 550rwhp with 110RON. On 98RON it puts out around 400 - 450rwhp

I'm guessing its either embelishment or there in a small town.

I thought infiniti's American version of the skyline had not been released yet. (Have no idea) Or was that an actual skyline imported from Japan.

there this guy on my block with an r32 skyline i cant tell u much about
it has a roll cage, its droped, it has black rims, and its turbo chagred? i dont know much about as i only see it when he pass's buy my house

he lives locally, and being a car nut he shared the details with me.
yes it is a jap import R33 GT-R, RB26 DETT, sigle turbo convertion, big everything

how is it that the skyline coudn't hook up? they have one of the most advanced all wheel drive systems around.

either way, I am not too surprised that the skyline lost. The new M5 is a beast not to be messed with :P

Sounds to me like BS. The skyline weighs less than the M5, has 50 horses on it, has AWD... a skyline with 550 hp should be running at least 11s, and no stock m5 is gonna match that.

He said 550rwhp on 110 RON... only 400 - 450hp on 98 .. I'm sure the guy isn't daily driving on 110...

either way... IF its at all true, they should have held VERY even - and if that skyline was on its 110 . . . it should have owned.

if its true , add it up to gearing , the M5 is geared amazingly, i mean its faster than the new viper 0-100k

i caught up with the skyline driver the other day, he said that the bimmer had him by about a car length.
he was not expecting a bimmer to put up such a fight and was running 1 bar {~14psi} boost on 98 octane.
was showboating off the line - took off in rear wheel drive, just to smoke it up.
once he saw the bimmer launch hard he flicked the switch and engaged the ATTESSA system. {he has it on a switch to do burnouts at the drags}
