I would just like to let you guys know that the new Evo 8 is a monster.

Goodluck racing that thing. God knows I may have had a chance with my previous car, but a friend and I went up against one today and got spanked like 5 year olds. Next time you see on give it all you got and let me know what happens.

I spanked one on this canyon road, but I think its cuz I drive that road everyday for practice, and I knew what it was doing, but damn..they are fast..I got to sit in the rally one at a car show, and stuff, SOO nice.

those are insane cars. People say its better for the hardcore driver than than the WRX STi. But I say M3's better any day, even though its a little slower for 0-60? I think by .2 seconds if I remember my numbers correctly. But the WRX Sti get's down to 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. Damn.

yeah.. theres no way a e30 could beat an EVO. It handles much better and is way faster.

yeah no shit. those things are mad crazy fast. like their on crack. a stock one put a car length on my buddys VW 1.8t GTI with an intake, exhaust and running full boost (20lbs) off the start. he caught up to him but still lost. insane.

if you want a bimmer to beat an Evo, I suggest you post in the E46 section, maybe E36 if your lucky. the Evo's are to aZn(no offence) to be beaten easily

I've even seen a neon beat a viper for god's SAKE!

lol, i'd love to see one get it hard from behind without lubrication. last night i saw one get pulled by a half a car by a twin turbo RX-7 on the bottle. the evo had him off the start but by the time they hit second the RX was even they stayed like that until third, then the rx hit the button for like a second just enough to pull ahead and walk away with the win... it was kinda gay he didnt stay on it to just pull him by like a car or two...

the evo VIII (u.s.) is 271 hp, and like 273 lbs-tq....a guy down the street from my dads has a white one...even if you hate it have to have respect for that car; its quite a car, next time he has it out if i remember i'll snap some pics
