Finally getting a chance to post this. Last week, Wednesday to be exact, I left home to drive to school. I am starting at Centenary College, a two hour drive from home. About 10 min after I leave, I am on the four lane highway in the fast lane going 80- 85. I use an fm transmitter for my mp3 player. Well the station was not coming clear so I was messing with it and my mp3 player fell. I looked down, kinda of naturally reacted to it, and tried to pick it up. Things get a little hazy here, hard to remember happened very fast. I feel the car move as I grab the player and look up. I am headed for the left shoulder. I react and try to bring myself back on the road, but i guess I over corrected myself and the front of the car swing to the right. Felt like i fishtailed but i doubt it and it is rear wheel drive. I try to correct the error again and I completely lose comtrol of the car. I am going left and right all over the road. The car then spins and I end up facing traffic, I am facing the wrong way. I kind of stop for a second and then the car leaps forward again and I end up in the median. Scariest part is I do not know if I ever took my foot off of the gas pedal. I may have depressed both the brake and the gas. After I stop my DSC light and check engine (cant exactly remember at the moment) are stuck on. Without thinking I turn the car off and and then back on the lights go away. The inside of the car also smells horrible so as soon as i come to my senses I get the hell out. I burnt the shit out of the brakes and tires so it smelled horrible. Before I looked down to pick up the player, I was passing traffic, thats why i was in the fast lane. I have no idea where all of the cars went because i didnt hit anyone. And when i stopped spinning in the middle of the road. There werent any cars behind me, well coming at me at this point. Also the craziest part is, after I ended up in the median and got out of the car. I look out and see a billboard. It says GOD LOVES YOU. I do not think I will ever question my faith again. This reminded me of the movie Signs. I know a lot of people really didnt like it, but the main theme was faith in God vs. pure luck. Just thought i would share this with you all. I didnt feel like driving to school after this so my uncle picked me up and dropped me. Have not seen my car in a week. I am going home this weekend to go pick it up. Do you all think I should get the car checked by the dealership just to make sure everything is ok. He dropped me off in the car and it seems to be running just fine.
Yeah pulled a 720 twice this winter (black ice) goin 65+. Second spin resulted in fender bender (with divider). Funny my reaction was to curse god. I hate that fucker.
Unless you hit median curbs backwards or sideways or whatever you should be fine. Otherwise take it in to be safe.
happens a lot to me in winter, probably cuz i have shitty tires
Ha ha no.
RWD spin VERY easily, and regardless of what people may think, the tires can only do so much. Just try to maintain consistent speeds and drive slow. I know, it sucks, but still; AWD and winter tires isn't some kind of magical formula - it's pretty much up to the driver, really.
I mean, come on, I was able to make it through winter on some 245/45x17" Dunlop Sports (Summer performance tire) by driving safe...
You should sell your car and learn to drive, your a danger to other drivers. Some fucking idiot had the same problem you did, except she hit my sister instead.
Goddam parents buying kids high performance cars and not buying them seat time at a driving school. Idiots.
Learn to drive. Quit fucking with ipods, phones and stupid shit and drive your cars.

You have a H2 in your sig, you are no longer allowed to post.
Now please learn to speak more nicely to other members, unless he was the one that hit your sister. There is no reason for that, it is not going to change him and only reflects poorly on you and this community.
So I assume you support driving like an ignorant ass?
uhhh... yeah. That is exactly what I support. You really showed me.
I know many people who hae done a 360 on an interstate, including my roommate who managed to do it at 45mph on a 70 mph interstate (he usually drives 5 under any posted speed limit). It happens to everyone. So before you judge him for doing something, think about it. I am sure he was wondering how to clean the shit off of the seat after this happened and that he won't do something stupid like that again. But unless you started out as a perfect driver lay off. If he does this again, then please by all means flame him as much as you want. I'll even join in.
I agree with you buddy...this holier than thou attitude is borderline ridiculous!!!!!! EVERYONE makes mistakes, get the whole story before you insult someone on this forum, mods please enforce the need for respect...name calling is very very crass!!!!!!!!
