Hey everyone, im new here at bmw forums, but i do have a story to tell. My dad currently owns a 93 5-speed green 525i with an exhaust, suspension, chip, radiator, and mesh wheels.(i have a 95 325i convertible) So we are on our way to the Franklin Mint Car show and somehow we get lost. We are goin around in these back roads, having no clue where we are. Then, all the sudden, we come up to a rally in a secluded parking lot. There were about 20 cars lined up, with one going though a track made from traffic cones. So we decide to check it out, watching camaros, bimmers, porches, subas, and lancers go around and round, some of them skid out, i laugh
. After being there for about an hour and a half, talking to some dudes, and getting some food, we decide to leave. My dad, who never drives fast, (except for one time when we went 160mph) oh yeah and when he lit it up with a G35 loaner car. He breaks out of the parking lot, then decides (with his newly installed bilstiens) to take off. These are very winding back roads and in the spirit, he skips 2nd, chirping the tires, 4th, 5th
...holy *crap* we were in 5th gear in this windy ass back road...turn comes up, he shifts down, down to 3rd, then rams the gas again right before the apex of the turn, i feel the back of the car go out
and i crap my pants
. He was going an average of like 65mph on a road like this ~~~ Somehow, my dad became a pro driver with out me knowing
