I finally raced that GT we were talking about earlier. The road was pretty straight for a while, then a slight bank to the right, then another straightaway.

The result: I pulled ahead of him and stayed up the entire time. After we were talking about it, and saying maybe he just got a bad launch, but he would have caught up by the end of the race if he did, and I was pulling away.

All the predictions are shot down. The bimmer won the race.

Now, after the race we (me and the stang driver) were doing a u-turn to go back to meet up with Zak (EcianIce) and Cameron (El Presidente), who were on cop-lookout. Two lanes of traffic. The stang in front. He weaves right a bit to ease the turn, and pulls the u-turn, I easily follow. About half way through it, he slams on his brakes. I run into the back of his car. Car accident.

Assumingly the mustang's turning radius sucks so bad he takes 2 and a half lanes to u-turn, and he saw he wasn't going to make the turn and was going to hit the curb, so hit his breaks at the last second to avoid the curb. Feh.

We went to a nearby parking lot and evaluated the damage. The back part of his bumper is dented in and cracked, and the paint is all chipped. My car has the front left impact strip dented in and some paint scraped off. There's also a huge gash in my front spoiler from his exhaust pipe.

But I beat the 2003 Mustang GT with an intake and suspension work plain and clear.

Then the evening work began with el pres. Posting a seperate thread about it.

Feh, repercussions. Mistyped the subject line. And I don't believe I can change it.

that sucks bro, fords suck.. they may be the all time worst handling cars.

My dad had to sell our f 150 1 month after purchase because he felt unsafe driving it. the center of gravity was just to high for its wheel base. and he spun it out twice in the rain..

Wow what are you talking about, we were pretty much dead even and we were only able to get to about 55-60 miles an hour, you got the line off of me becuase I bogged like crazy (this was the first time I have ever street raced so I was a little over anxious and blew it bad), but we were pretty much neck and neck the whole like 5 seconds it lasted.

By the way I did not slam on the brakes. I was going 5 mph at most when i started the turn and slowly stopped as I came to the curb.

We are not going through insurance on this becuase I would get royally fucked by the parents (I was supposed to be at school not over by the mall)

Trust me if I had not bogged off the start I would have had you by a car easy, but since I am a horrible driver we ended up pretty much even up to 55 in which we had to stop becuase traffic was so close.

Plain and Clean my ass you are mistaken, Ill admit your car really surprised me, but with a somewhat decent driver it would have been a different story by a long shot. And no you did not win it was a tie if that, we were right next to each other except for off the break where u pulled about half a car on my which I was able to catch once my i got into the powerband. And him being able to pull on me off the break proves the point i suck at driving.

Oh and explain the road a little better, The first "straight" he is talking about was through the intersection and about another 50 feet. The curve was a slight curve that was probably another 50 feet, and the second the curve ended i had to break so I didnt hit the car in front of me.

And I didnt think I got a bad launch, I DID get a bad launch becuase every last person on these forums or any other knows that if my stang got a decent launch i would have been ahead of you from the start, only when we get much higher speeds would you have a chance of start pulling on me if that.

But im taking this accident as a sign that I shouldnt be street racing lol, I got lucky it was in a place I could pass off to the parents as "WHERE THE FUCK DID THAT COME FROM"

I have nothing to prove to you guys so I am telling you this as it really was. If you want to believe he beat me go ahead, but I know I have done it also I stretch the truth a bit on the forums where people know me and I have a reputation. I come here just to tell you guys exactly what happened, if you choose to believe him go ahead, I just figured I would let you guys know how I saw this race

True, the bad launch probably caused me to get off ahead at the start, and based on the numbers I'm sure you would have probably pulled ahead eventually, but I do know up to 60 or however high we got, I was ahead the entire time.

Though I do agree it did kind of suck because we had to slow down to early do to the traffic. After all this cools down a bit we'll try again and you can prove your straightaway speed. Okay?

But I would like to amend the u-turn accident for clearification. Yes, he was going about 5 mph or so, but I was right behind him as the light was changing, and it was at the point coming out of the u-turn where you start to accell at the straightaway and I was expecting that. Whenever you're going that speed and you brake at all, you pretty much stop instantly, so that's what caught me by suprise.

Heh, I pay high insurance costs too.

But see, I know from the numbers alone that his car SHOULD have been way ahead of me in a race like that, so I'm suprised my little i6 could hold it's ground so well, even up to 60. :P I kinda wanna rerace him to see what it's supposed to be like, ya know?

sounds good, give me a little time to relearn to launch becuase I am doing something wrong

The only thing I still dont agree with is that you were ahead of me. I know for a fact we were side by side once i got back up to you. Now if when we hit the brakes you were like barely a nose in front of me or behind me we will never know, but I know it was too close to be able to tell
