Mustang gets sent to pasture - BMW Forum

So I am on my way home from BWI airport, going 60 or so, some asshat in a mustang 5.slow gets on my ass and hangs there for a minute. We both switch to a new highway, (495S) and as soon as we are ready to merge with traffic he jumps to the left lane around a panel truck and I drop to third and punch it.

I immediately start to gain ground on him, we started off about neck and neck when we passed the truck, I however had on ASC as well as my AC. I started walking him pretty well. By time we got to 100 from probably around 60 I had him by several car lengths, I shut down because I was very tired and was not alone in the car. (wife and kid, cant be setting a bad example now can I)

So smoked the Mustang, and know he had to be pissed thet he got beat by a 4 door! LOL, gotta love a jackass in a slow car who think he's the shit. Of, shortly after I slowed down, some random cat rolls up beside me and gives me mad props for the kill!

One more down, many more waiting for the 4 door fury that is Sibenwulf.

Supposidly, the AC electric clutch dis-engages after the engine hits a certain RPM or WOT condition is reached.... One of the two (or both...)

I don't have a/c, I only have 2:70. (2 windows, 70 mph)

I can take a decent amount of cars in my slightly modded 328 (don't have a list), but my friend drives an old beat up stock auto Volvo 850 Turbo that holds it's ground pretty nicely. I've raced him a few times. When I was stock, I paced him pretty closely up to about 45 when he pulled ahead (when his turbo kicked in). Now I completely destroy him on a 0-60, but after about 60 he pulls ahead for a kill on 0-100. Makes me want that AATuning supercharger so I can shut him up for good.

Oh, and he claims that if he chips his car he would gain like 70hp because it's a turbo. I've never heard of anything like that before, that a chip is that insane on turbo cars. Does that sound accurate?

Chips can make silly power in TC cars.

My car is bone stock. No addons yet.

Yeah, but 70hp? Seems a bit steep to me....
