Audi is playing the MBZ style which is using big engine!
thats cool, tho.
the V8 S4 makes the M3 look so much better with only a great I6 engine!

absoloutly, but i wish bmw woudlve made it a 3.5, just so it would have a LITTLE more torque....

the next 3 series will the the 350i i heard putting out 240hp and more torque, i think late 2004, early 2005 B)

you mean 335! yes, bmw needs more hp in the current 330, id expect it to have about 260...240 is too low

if thats the next gen 3, the next gen M3 will have a V8, and the gap will still be too big. And BMW needs 260+ to compete with cars like maxima, g35, acura tl type S....225 just doesnt cut it anymroe.....280 would be ideal in the 335 (hell, the g35 coupe has that much out of a 3.5) and the m3 would be nice with 370hp....

yeah, but then cars are getting to fast, too quick. the 280hp G35 coupe isn't that much faster than the 330Ci. i think the G35 coupe does 0 to 60 in 6.1 seconds, that's horrible for that much power. and power doesn't mean anything, too much and it might ruin the overall driving experience
