So I was driving to pick up some food on Saturday night, had the top down and teh wife with me for the night time cruise. As I accelerated onto the highway, feeling the boost surge and the tightness of the steering and coiloversn squatting down low against the road, life was pretty damned good. I got over 3 lanes quickly to stay on the correct highway from the difficult entrance I had chosen. As the music washed over me and the high powered sub thumped at maximum, I smiled to myself and took a deep breath at the THRILL it is to drive a BMW, let alone a custom one - FTMFW!
So, I'm maneuvering through traffic and gears, checking my new boost gauge from time to time, the wind in my hair, so so SO happy to be out of my damned apartment at last, when I see the distant Xenon's of a silver Benz
C63 sniffing from afar. Sure enough, he creeps up into the middle lane and then here he comes, coming hard now in the left lane where I am. I decide to let him come right up on me (- just close enough to read the stock () markings on the back on my ride), thinking he has me, and that I'm giving up and giving in...(MWAAH-HA-HA-HA). SO - just as he's approaching from behind, I downshift and pull over into the middle lane to fully sell it. Then, just as he's pulling up alongside me, I downshift again, moving the RPM's into the stratosphere where my boost lives and braking hard right into the far right lane while accelerating all the while. As I create a little bit of space through this sudden unexpected move, I'm already looking ahead to the next stage of my plan, using full boost to cut back across three lanes into the left lane and keep right on boosting into the night. As I move through the gears and sink into the seat, all the while ignoring/enjoying the nervous terror/unbridled excitement of my wife beside me, the blueish Xenon's of the blasted Benz fade farther and farther into the night until they disappear entirely beneath the mighty whine of the roaring supercharged-six.
I LIVE FOR THIS. Clearly the highlight of my weekend!

Hi! RoadsterMadness! Very very KOOL Driving Tale, you kind of live for that, especially if your a diehard Bimmer fanatic like me!!! Supercharged! Hmmmm! I have 2 questions, 1st,) I've been mulling this mod over for a year now, & I even priced one from vf-engineering.com @ $4,500.00 & 85 more HP! So my question? Is it worth spending $4,500.00 for an 85 hp increase & did you noticed the difference right off the bat???......just want your opinion! I am so itching to get one, a Supercharger that is..............
2nd,) Doesn't your wife get nervous or have canip shit, when you drive your ride like it should be driven, with her in the car???

Ehh, then we'd have all this car crazy kids zooming around the roads and the word would be out as to how amazing BMW's are and EVERYONE would want one, the prices would go up, all the cool kids would have one...
