I always thought they were a lot faster than an e36 m3. light turned green and i waited to see if he'd jup on it and he did. 2nd gear i pulled even and 3rd i pulled away.!? is that car that slow or am i just that fast. his was a manual, maybe it was a drivers race. anyone else ever raced a G35 coupe???
Gearing is long and they're heavy as crap. I would have expected the m3 by a nose.

G35's are fast cars but I'd imagine the E36 should take it in the end. Never driven either myself (hey...one of these days!) but I'd take the M3 by half a car length maybe? If you killed him that bad he probably wasn't a great driver haha.....but those are the funniest 'cause they're usually the guys with the biggest egos haha.
Sounds kinda like last weekend my buddy and I were cruising the Plaza here in KC in his family's 2002 TL and when we were heading home this guy and his wife pulled up next to us in a new loaner TL Type S. Somehow we demolished the guy out of the light ('02 TL's have 225 hp and the new type S has what? 270?)....he was trying too...could hear the engine rev as he accelerated. We laughed half way home but it was pretty obvious that it was simply a situation of the other guy not being a good driver...no way an 02 3.2 should beat, much less smoke a new Type S. It was def. fun though.
