Well i was driving down 204(main highway leading into town) and i was just cruising and this crx blew past me. by the way i have a stock 1994 325i auto(yea i know its auto i shouldnt try to race it but it was a crx). Well he just got the red light and i pulled right up next to himi revved my engine a little and he didnt do anything but look at me so i was like ok he doesnt want to race im still going to show him my ass. Well the light turns and im in the sports gear or so its suppose to be and he blows past me like i didnt even have a chance. I got to the mall and he was just sitting there and i go whats in the and he has a b20 with b16 head supercharged with about 500 hp. Yup i lost horribly
crx's can be made very fast for cheap. That's why I don't try to race those cars, or I try to "play" with them before a light to see waht they have under the hood.

Thats not really that bad, I lost to a civic in the twisties once. He pulled up next to me and revved his engine hard, so I gunned it and eat him in a straight line(I had 5 people in the car me included, he had one passenger) and then a turn came up and he blew by me. He almost hit the railing and fell over the side of the mountain, but he still did the turn a lot faster than I did.

actuly this is the worst sight i have ever seen about admitting defeat. everyone looses so it not a big deal.
How so? Most sites I've been to don't even know the meaning of the word. I'm sure part of it comes from not wanting to post stories of loss... But eh. Who cares. I posted two losses already.

Oooo, that sucks. I'd be so embarrassed. He's probably still telling that story.

I dont really think it was a big deal. I had a full car and he had one passenger. Not to mention I drive a 528i auto, I shouldnt be racing anyway, but my car can keep up with most, at least when it's not squatted down with another 700 pounds of weight. :P
Originally posted by 4evrwyntr@Jun 23 2005, 05:44 PM Well, if that 700 lbs is near your rear axle, it increases horses that hit the ground? Uh, I think?t

Umm no? That gives it a lower HP to weight ratio and my tires dont exactly break traction with the whole 190HP my car has. :P
Yes, but of the passengers were all to blow really hard out the windows towards the rear of the car, you increase hp to make the weight gain negligible.
Really.
