I was in the car driving to the mall after school with harry (komodo9) and our friend ally. we were cruising down a 4 lane divided highway with a good amount of intersections and red lights on it. we were approaching one like all the rest, green light (confirmed by all 3 people in the car) and as we near it, a white G35 comes from the right intersecting lane of traffic and decides. "hey. it's a red light. LET'S RUN IT"
she pulled STRAIGHT OUT INFRONT OF ME. im talking her nose to my front end. and she even slowed down to stop at the light, then prcoeeded through .. wow.
now this is why i love bmw. <333333
1 - i was approaching the intersection, so was she.
2 - i was about to cross it. she had started into it already. i noticed about this time she had done so and covered the brake to see if she noticed what was happening.
3 - by now i thought she would have tried to stop to avoid the accident, but no. i hit the brakes semi hard and pulled a hard left to miss her expecting her to slow down. that didn't happen
4 - narowly missed being T'd by her and corrected the crazy turn and parked it in the oncomming traffic's turn lane.
5 - i pulled a U-ie in the middle of the road and she had still continued on her merry little way like nothing had happened.
it would have made sense looking at the picture to have gone right, but i made the assumption that she was going to realize she was entering the intersection on her red light and would have stopped to avoid an accident. meaning she would have blocked the right lane of my road. so i had already commited to going around her in the front because of the asumption.
we sped off to catch her down the road and she was a damn good ways ahead before we got to the light where she was stopped. pulled up next to this mid 30's chick and she had her middle finger up as we rolled down the windows. she started talking, saying "you know that were a red light you ran. you can't think that was my fault" but it's the 3 people that saw green against her 1 word that it wasn't. blah blah blah back and forth for about 30 seconds until she pulled off with her lane of traffic.
