Well i finished my homework and i decided to go for a drive, i went out to the road i normally drive on, but then i decided to go on a new road, i was going and then i saw a sign that said kokomo 35 miles, that's a town north of Indianapolis, so i decided to go to kokomo,
it was an awesome road, not too many cars, perfectly straight for 35 miles, i was going like 80 mph most of the way some times got up to 85 to pass a bunch of slower moving cars, keep in mind the speed limit was 55 like on most small highways, but no one was doing 55 so i felt it was ok,
anyway i get to kokomo, see the sites, then decide to turn around, as i was coming back on the road, it was a 4 lane devided highway just to let ya know, anyway as i was coming back it was in the city area of kokomo so it was busy so i was doing around 60, the stop light turned yellow in front of me and i though about going though, but i decided to be safe and slowed down, i had to brake moderately hard to get it stopped,
anyway there was a black suv next to me full of teenagers, older than me because they were driving by themselves, i was with my mom, she knows i'm a good driver so she didn't mind that i was going fast on the way up, anyway when the light turned yellow instead of slowing down the suv kept going and they were on the right lane, they went through the intersection but before they got to it it turned red, and they went through, a red pickup who was going though hit the back left side of the suv, and then the suv flipped 5-6 times right in front of us, broken glass and shit from inside the car was everywhere, the suv just kept flipping then finally landed upright and turned around in the middle of the road,
we called 911 on my cell-phone and pulled up to help the people, it was busy so there was a lot of other people coming to help, two people were pretty messed up and were takin away by streture, the rest were okay and got out on their own, the red truck that hit them just kept going and didn't stop, we were there for about half an hour, we gave a statement to the cop and then turned around and left, on the way home i did 55 the whole way i was pretty shakin up,
if i hadn't decided to stop and kept going the truck woulda slammed in the driver side of my car and prolly killed me or messed me up bad, thank god that i stopped, both of the cars were at fault becuase the red truck slammed the gas when the light turned green and the teens in the suv, didn't stop for the red, i'm pretty sure the two people that were takin by streture are gonna be ok they were cut up and probably had some broken bones, but i think they will survive, hopefully both drivers will be more careful next time
Kinda scary when you think about it. Your life, what you've worked so hard for, for so many years, can just end based on a decision you make in a split second.

omg he went to see kokomookkoooko and was driving 85 in a 55 with his mother in the car. she didnt mind. on the way back he witnessed a accident where a truck ran a yellow and hit another vehicle causing one of them (unsure of which) to flip 5 times and land in front of his car... he called 911, gave statement etc. he was shaken up and drove home going 55.

Then read it again. It's not unclear.
There was a 2 lane road, SUV beside him. Light turned yellow, and he choose to stop, but the SUV choose to keep going. There was a pickup truck coming from the other direction that hit the suv and caused it to do 5-6 rolls. If they had run the yellow light with the suv, instead of stopping a bit harder than usual, the truck would have hit them instead (or in addition to) the suv. If he had run the light, his car would have been between the crazy pickup truck and the suv.

i watch for idiots running red lights before i go at a green, if he did that he wouldn't of hit them, and it might not be an offense, but it's dangerous

even then if the light was completly green for the guy and all then it wouldn't really be his fault, that wouldn't hold up in court that it was his fault...but since he hit and ran that is a big mistake and if they find out who it was he will be screwed.

Toledo has the highest red-light fatality rates in the state. Cops issue well over 3,000 tickets a month for lights, and the cameras catch about half that. I ALWAYS give a 3-count before going on a green. Saved my life twice.
Last time, I stopped for a red, gave my three-count after it turned green. Right as I thought "two", some idiot in a Cherokee barreled through the red light at about 40. n
