biggm3...youre the reason BMWs have a "rich-bitch-egotistical-prick-inside" name to go along with them. You have a very inflated idea of your own importance. I dont like you, eric doesnt like you, this whole forum doesnt like you. your car dont even like you. yeah your cars new, and you get a new one every year.. who cares? who are you trying to impress? big, shiny, new expensive M3..wow.. yeah its a sexy car..but when youre gonna get a new SL600 next..you obviously dont have what it takes to own, and appreciate what you have. Id take erics ride over yours in a heartbeat. his car has character, sex appeal, and is a work of art...not to mention turbo'd.. im sure he cares a hell of alot about his ride. please stop being so self-righteous. The world does not revolve around you..not matter how big in comparison to the sun you might be.

The thing is, Hondas are some of the best cars you can get for the money. Then once we are talking about used Hondas, we are really talking about a very very good car for the money. Many people are able to afford a used Honda, because they are very affordable. However, properly modifying and or accesorizing them is still a little expensive, so some people just buy whatever generic hubcaps they can (many many entry level Hondas only come with steel wheels stock), or just go without any, since may just care about getting from A to B, and not about the car;s performance or looks.

I didn't really like hondas until we bought one to replace our LEMON VW Touareg.: Nice car.
...and now that I think about it, I drove this honda in japan a few times... man, we beat the shit out of that thing. Jumped it, learned how to do J-turns, hit construction cones, jumped in the windows (my buddy would pick me up from night school, and he refused to stop in order for me to get in) Man, that was a fun ass car...

Starmavin is a jewel in the roughStarmavin is a jewel in the roughStarmavin is a jewel in the roughStarmavin is a jewel in the rough
My favorite quote is "Rice is good for gas, but it doesn't build muscle"

I have built several import "tuner" cars and they can be fast. However on the flip side where kids that have the annoyingly loud chrome coffee can muffler with 17's that self clearance the fenders on every turn and busted up body kit held together with zip ties and duct tape riding in 4 point harness race seats held in with 3 10mm head bolts in a car so low they have to angle their car to go over a speed bump trying to race every one willing to go over 100 with squealing bone stock bakes.

Most of these children shouldn't be allowed to walk let alone drive. I see them all the time, they are the ones that come in smelling like weed with their glassy eyes just under the hat bow that’s curled so much reminds me of a toilet paper tube asking me what I would do to get a little more "go" out of their gutted mangled turd with the V-TEC stickers all over the car powered by a single over head cam lawn mower motor that rattles like a pop can full of rocks. The car's value is determined by how full the gas tank is.

I know that was a long rant but believe me I know why honda’s, mitsubishi’s and many other imports are hated. The sad part is I've seen a few BMWs fall victim to this too. I would like to get a few intel style stickers made that read "idiot in side" and put them on their bumpers. No car is safe from these kids.

On craigslist, i emailed a guy about M3 mirrors he was selling... apparently he thought i was crazy that i wanted them for my BMW. they are made for civics... i said, 'thanks, but im looking for BMW parts to put on a BMW... not try to be like one.'

my friend has m3 mirrors on his ranger and i tease him about it

my 318 is much better built then my civic was. hondas reliability is overrated. theyre good cars, but they wont outlast older more quality built mbs or bmws etc. anyway as far as jap cars go id give the most reliable to toyota hands down

I think I've driven all of the lower line import/domestic cars. I think I would have to put the Honda pretty much up at the top. The ONLY thing I don't like about my honda is that it's an automatic.
1. Ford Focus: 4 dr/4 cyl MT Fun car, Good power, exhaust note, hardly any problems in 3 years/75,000 miles. shouldn't have gotten rid of it.
2. Honda Accord: 4dr/4cyl AT Nice comfort, plenty of room in front and in back, nice looking car Good MPG, EVERYONE has one, and it pushes at the limit pretty badly (I guess that's supposed to be safe)
3. Toyota Corolla: 4dr/4cyl AT Small, bland, econo box. Cheap price, no soul.
4. Chevy Cavalier/Cobalt: 4dr/4cyl AT REALLY small, I felt like I was wearing the car (not in a good way) felt cheap, and had no soul whatsoever. Cobalt was a LITTLE better, but not enough to make me buy one.

lol at this forum  Anyhow, in my past experiences with Honda, they are reliable, and was my cup of tea when I was at the age of 16-21. I was into the whole import thing, and I've owned it all. Just to give you a breakdown of all the imports i've owned and built up for speed, they are:

Imports
1. 1990 Hyundai Excel Hatchback (LoL)
2. 1991 Honda CRX Si
3. 1994 Honda Civic Si
4. 1995 Honda Civic Si
5. 1995 Honda Del Sol VTEC DOHC
6. 1995 Acura Integra
7. 1993 Honda Del Sol
8. 1988 Honda CRX Si
9. 1993 Mazda MX-3
10. 1995 Mazda MX-6

American

1. 1995 Ford Probe
2. 1999 Mercury Cougar

Euro

1. 1994 BMW 318is
2. 1994 BMW 318i
3. 1995 BMW 325i
4. 1980 BMW 320i

5. 1998 BMW 528i (my current car)

So as you can see, I've had some experience with all sorts of vehicles. Although I fixed up my imports, they were never made Ricer UGLY. They were all wonderful cars, but my preference is BMW FTW!!!!
