anyways today i was doing some driving on the freeway enjoying the open road whenever i could i would floor it and go into triple digits for a while...then i see 3 cars coming up pretty fast in my mirror...a riced out civic, integra, and an accord...so i let them pass me i double clutch down to 4th and take off after them. when im near them i double clutch to 5th and walk them from that point as i just keep pulling away from them :lol: and then i see a blue hatchback car coming up real fast in the far right lane...so i floor it once again and this car just keeps coming by now im doing close to 120 and the car is still gaining on me...soon a laguna seca blue ///M coupe goes flying past me...

ZOOM. damn, i never see any people driving over 85, ever.

double clutch up shifts? that seems unnecessary

if you do it right the car pulls a little harder and your car will seem to jump forward try it sometimes and you will see what i mean

never heard of double clutch up shift.

lol there really isnt a point too....ive seen a blue ///m coupe on the way to philly, awsome cars, too much traffic to give it a run, sweet cars....my dad really likes them

double clutching doesnt work. Your transmission has sycnros on every gear. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are double syncroed. Double clutching will only destroy these. But go ahead if you want to.

all my synchros are destroyed...previous owner couldnt drive stick for beans...sometimes certain gears are like they dont exist 1st gear still has synchros i believe 2nd is gone...3rd is gone 4th is somewhat still there and 5th is gone as well oh reverse is ok though

er i dunno what to call what i did but it makes the car pull harder when your accelerating

oh and anyone know how much it costs to get a 6 spd tranny for e36s? i dont want to fix the synchros too damn much

good timing does most of it.

no i mean the car will pull harder than it normally does and it will sustain the rpm i shift at say 5k and thats why it pulls harder...
