I just got my car, 1998 M3, and on the first day of drivin it to school all the kids are talkin about it and how it's not gonna be that fast. One of the kids in the school has a GTP and thinks he's pretty hot shit with it. So he cocks off and says his GTP will kick the shit outa my German pile. Now this was the first time i'd ever driven my car, and it's the first time i've ever driven a manual car. I live on a farm so i have a lil experience with manuals, but this is pretty much my first time. So after school we get a crowd of 20 or so people and we set up a mile and a half stretch to race on. Right from the start i had him. I powered thru 1st and 2nd and he couldn't touch me. I had atleast 4 car lenghts on him when he hit his speed limiter and that's all she wrote. I get alot more respect from the kids in the school now and they know not to fuck with the BMW.

nice kill. i dont think i like any american car at all... they all seem like cheap fall-appart pieces (exception of corvettes and vipers, but i dont think i'll own one anytime soon).

there is a kids at my school with either real real nice cars, or cars that are so old(but have class cuz of how crappy and old tehy are), seriously, I think older cars have charactor, but dude, nice kill, feels nice when you win too huh? cuz you get to strut your shit, woot.

This kid came up to me and was like(he has a 2003 M3 and Ihave an 89 325iS) and he asked me if i wanted to race. Does he really think I have a chance, I mean c'mon now..

Your a lucky man for owning an M3 my friend. Congrats and nice kill. Be sure to keep that kid inline, slap him around, and if he gives you shit, be like "oh wait what, my car is faster then yours going straight and through corners, what?"

well done. They never should have named that car GTO. It just makes people think it will be fast and it doens't hold a candle to the GTOs of days of old. The ones that don't handle for shit by todays standards but would beat the crap out of just about anything in a straight line. Keep putting them in their place!

nono, were talking about the gayness stp grand prix or am or w/e gay name 50 year old pontiac designers thought would be "cool." but your right, the new gtos dont hold a flicker of a flame of a candle to the old gto's.

you guys must be the most arrogant and ignorant forum and drivers i met next to ricers. i never raced a old m3 but i killed plenty 3series and 5series along with old 740s in my "american POS". when u beat them from a red light they dont even stop next to u cause they too ashamed that they got beat by what they think is a "granny car", well my "granny car" is sooooooo much more comfy and better looking inside and out that it's not even funny and guess what you probably paid more for your older 325 with more miles on it . i wouldn't be caught dead in a bmw if it were up to me but fate will tell .

good for you, hope you feel proud, you must be really good at JUST putting the petal to the ground, going straight takes no skill at all except for the start, even that is easy. get over yourself for beating a BMW, and dont forget that most of the BMW's that you will ever beat have engine's with a displacement 1/3 or 1/2 the size smaller then yours and are still able to keep up, so go fuckyourself you stupid shit. guarantee Ill beat your ass, NOT straight, cuz straight is lame, not sayin it isnt fun, but it doesnt take any skill, just money. this doesnt apply to anyone at this forum
