One of my friend's dad has a 2.5 TDi... Was just wondering wich was faster??
2.8 N/A Petrol, or 2.5 Turbo Diesel...

I'd have to vote for the Audi on this one.
Although its 6400RPM vs. 4500RPM

What do you guys say??

I was under the impression that turbo diesels were purely for fuel economy and torque to get around town (like a 325e). In this race the e36 would definately win compared to the tdi's 0-60 of 8.9 sec.

I must be way off my rocker....turbo diesels can have the most ridiculous compression ratios ever.
