Driving In Snow Today

I have had my car since December and today it snowed between 1 and 2 inches. My car is kinda bad, plus it's my first time driving in the snow by myself. Only bad thing was an 18 wheeler almost reversed into me. I kept honking the horn to let him know I was there but he kept reversing. I ended up hitting the brakes and sliding sideways a little. Then all he did was put his hand up and drive off. I was driving at about 15 mph tops.

welcome to the world of bmw's in the winter... u just gotta trust yourself behind the wheel!! most people on the road don't care about any 1 except themself..

it is snowing in ny right now.. and i just got home from 1 of my boy;'s house's.. and i had some fun.. drifting around corners and what not... its just something to get used too... good luck and be careful!

You guys suck! I live in western Virginia and we normally have tons of snow, but we have only had a dusting which happened last Sunday. A storm today made a hole and hit everywhere but where I am. Its balls! My friend and i want to go out and do a little sliding around.

First real snow.. couple of inches in NJ too. Found it was a real bitch to drive her. I was doing about 65mph when the snow began to go from dusting to sticking. Changed lanes and all of a sudden, the back end started to wiggle, not fishtail, but wiggle. I'm thinking it was probrolly from the groves in the road over the years of traffic, but still, kinda scared me. Felt like the car was floating around. Welcome back snow.. now F off.

wish me luck, tomorow's my first day of driving MY Bmw in the snow (most likely ice thought). I say MY bcs I have driven my bro's 96 328 (his second car), and my mom's 97 540 in the snow before, but am sure mine's a diff. story, lighter than both of those + it's mine, not there's, lol

It's fun sliding around tho. Trying to work on gas control when i'm sliding tho so it won't do a complete 360.
