I was on the way to a wedding doin' about 80 on the freeway when I spotted this white mini-van pacing me in the lane to my right. The van was was full of people so I guess checkin' out my ride was more important than the safety of his passengers because doin' 80 in a mini-van that doesn't hande worth a damn is pretty stupid.
Anyway, I floored it, the 530 down shifted and bam! kicked up to 6500rpm and I was gone...up to 105 in a couple of seconds. Pulled away and could see the van getting smaller in my rear view mirror.
As traffic bunched up, I slowed down and what do I see in my rear view mirror? The stupid van weaving through traffic, again going too fast, trying to catch up to me! What an idiot.
It's nice to have power on tap. This is the first time I tried this with my new ride. With only 2200 miles on it, I'm still discovering new things it can do.
My friends got a 2000 dodge caravan sport (yeah that sprot adds .3 more liters, 1 more inch with alloy rims, and yes, a spoiler) We have gotten that thing up to 110 on a the highway, that thing is as smooth as silk. Let go of the steering wheel for like a second and no play at all. He beats the piss out of it though. Doughnuts in school parking lot on dry pavment, off roading, you name it. That car is gonna die real soon. But yeah, vans have some surprising power to them at times.
Yea my friend's mom has a ford Minivan..like a 2001 or somethign, that thing hauls ass for a van, and it even has sway bars, handles pretty nice. He neutral drops it all the time, its pretty funny to see a van peel out. But he does take it a little to far, almsot lost control a couple of times in it, hes nuts.
My crazy-ass friend in the Air Force Academy, whose dad bought him a 2003 A4 3.0 last year, used to borrow his mom's Chrysler Town & Country when we were in high school. There's this rough, sharly-crowned road near his house, and on the way home one time I was with him and he got up to like 90 on this dinky little road...and after one of the big dips in the road I feel like I'm floating, and then WHAM--the two wheels on the passenger side hit the ground again. Yes, he got a minivan up on two wheels. He owes me--if I would have mentioned that to his dad he wouldn't have gotten an A4

Yea were I live we are surrounded by mountains....so on the way down from one theres a nice high speed banked turn(and by banked im not talking Autobahn banked...Us banked..lol) and right after theres a huge lump in the road. Well if you take it at about 85 with my friends van you get air....and of course we did it, it got up off the ground you could feel it. Funny as hell. Then i tried it with my car, wasnt as fun, but its still badass
Vans are the shit...Im thinking about Air Force Academy
