Here in my area all the roads are straight and parralell... EXECPT one...
Friday night I was making a left turn into this winding road and this S4 (99?) flys by me doing 100.... their was traffic and he was going in and out like it was a video game.... I speed up and catch him at the next red light. I pull down my window and I say...
Dude your nuts...
and hes like well "I just spent 700 dollars on these new tires (slicks) and wanted to try them on".... when the light turned green he was still talking I floored it... I was about 5 car lenght ahead of him before he started catching up .... I know his car if faster then mine but I still beat him hahahah
its like what my friend does...like if he plans on fighting someone he'll start a sentence and in the middle of the sentence he will nail the guy in the nose

He was using slicks on the street driving like that?....
Thats stupid... street asphalt will rip up slicks like crazy and drag radials get better traction on street asphalt than slicks... besides the fact that its illegal.
Anyway cool deal

Well im not 100 % sure they where slicks.....
ALL i know is that the pattern on the tires where very exotic..... like the thread started from the outside and went sideways upwards in a arched direction... from on side only.. kind of hard to explain but my friend said they where slicks so i believed him.
Maybe they where these drag radials you are talking about.
Those are called Hoosiers. Its the stickiest street legal tire you can buy. Almost everyone in car comps use them when they have to be street legal, because they can nearly compete with slicks. Made in indiana
