Cheesy Feel Good Story

I just recently became a Bimmer owner...after 5 years of driving and modifying a 1989 Nissan 240sx. Now, you may ask, WTF does this have to do with driving? Well, my friends, I just wanted to say that I haven't actually LOOKED FORWARD to driving in ages. The 240 was fast...so fast. I regularly dispensed with many cars with "M" badges. But it was loud, brash, and well, Japanese. This German machine is just so much more refined. I actually get a smile on my face just from walking out to it, hitting the keyless entry, hopping in, and cruising along the streets and highways. It's not that fast, but it sure does look great and the overall balance and smoothness of the car is simply amazing. I know why you all drive them!

Anyway, that's all I have to say about that.

The 240 was sold to a local guy...so it still prowls the streets.

the new m5 will definatley give you some trouble though.

I know what you mean about refinement. The feel of the BMW is just unique and is a part of the marque for a long time. I drove a 75 3.0 SIA a bunch of times and it feels as nice as the new cars!
