BIMMER SANDWICH ANYONE?

Ok, so i'm going TAD going to a leadership school right now. It's about an hour away, and I come home about 3 times a week. Nice drive REALLY cool twisty road called 9 MILE ROAD that has a lot of "35 MPH" turns (yeah right) I'm coming home, and I've gotten about a mile from the front gate of MCAS New River, and there's construction going on there. I'm driving through this zone, and there's this big dump truck in the right hand lane. I know that he's going to be slowing down and getting off the highway, so I get in the left lane. Well, there's this A/C and Heating beat up F-150 right behind him. He sees too late that the dump truck is going to be slowing down. I'm sitting with my bumper at about the back of his door, and he decides that he's going to go around the dumptruck.... Does he look? Does he signal? HELL NO!!! He just comes the hell on over. Oh my bad, he did look as he was coming over... just in time to see me... but he's still moving... yeah.. so I lock up my tires and angle toward the jersey concrete barriers, and he comes achingly close to my bronzit bumper.... It looked awful close... no contact though... squealing tires were pretty loud though... scared the crap outta me... i pulled along side him again... he gave me this dumb look... I point to the side of my car... He looks... gives me a thumbs up.. no harm, no foul.. however, it did teach me a lesson.. yeah basically 90% of the drivers out there are just riding along in their metal boxes.. they are not driving... so watch out!!

yah i've had crap like that happen to me alot, the worst part is, just about every time someone nearly side swipes me they start to yell and rage like it was my fault i was there, some people are just stupid

i had to swerve into somebody's lawn the other day because some guy in a s10 decided to do whatever and come half way onto my side.

it would have been his fault if he hit me, but i avoided that. i couldnt stand having the bimmer hurt.

this girl in an older honda civic with the ricer bling bling wheels, you know what im talking about, is driving next to me. i look over at the car and laugh a little once she started getting a little ahead of me. the road opens up(no traffic) then i start going a little faster. as i am side to side to this honda(we r not racing, we r going just a little over the speed limit(normal speeds)) the bitch pretty much swirves into my lane and scares the shit out of me. i back off because she was within inches of hitting my mirror. i look at the side of her car and notice that the side is all beat up, as if she has hit some1 doing that before. then i look up at her, and she must have been on her damn cell phone the whole time.
i let off the gas a lot so she is way ahead of me. then i couldnt stay going slow(i had just got off work...part time job at a grocery store..need to let some steam off...) then i go from 5th to 4th for a little speed boost and put the gas down all the way. i fly by her, hoping she doesnt hit me. after i was way past her, i let off the higher speeds and started going normal speeds. all of the sudden i see this beat up bling bling honda flying towards me. i was about to shit myself. traffic started getting thicker, so if she was after to smash me, the other cars saved my ass.

Lesson learned here: dont drive next to a girl on her cell phone especially if she is driving a bling bling honda that looks like she has already been in at least one accident!

I was driving in the fast lane eating a burger when a huge pickup decided to change lanes (into my lane) with only looking in his mirror. I must have been in his blind spot.

Well...I couldn't reach the horn so I swerved onto the shoulder, finally got to the horn and he moved back into his lane after moving half way into my lane and almost all the way into me.

Moral of the story, don't drive with a burger in your hand unless you have three hands.

btw, this was in my trusty '97 Honda Accord LX, not sporty but very reliable.
It only has 73k miles so it's got a way to go.

Very good, lesson learned. Very few realize their own mistakes, in your case, they would have just flamed the trucker.

Lot of IDIOT drivers make mistakes, we should be ready for them, with both hands on the steering wheel.

PS. By the way, you don't eat in your BMW, do you? Think of the interior man, will you please. ghead

oh i forgot to tell you guys this story.

i work at a grocery store too (just like brien4787). one day i was on brake and i of course went to sit in my car, relax for a few minutes, listen to music, all that good stuff.

as i am coming back inside, i am crossing the main parking road (if that's what you would call it). on my right there is a taurus that is it wasnt even moving when i stepped into the road. and then it moves, starts honking and stuff... I look, and it's some younger girl driving it and she looks mad.

i just proceed at my own pace, because wtf it is a parking lot not a racetrack wait for pedestrians. when i got to the sidewalk, there is a girl standing up there (looked very good) and she goes "she is just mad because she has to drive that pos taurus". i couldnt stop laughing for the next 10 minutes.


wtf is up with people driving fast through parking lots... this one guy from work got hit by some dumbass not paying attention and going too fast. didnt hurt him, but he did get hit. he got so mad that he threw a nearby shopping cart at the car.

I had to drive up on the side of a bridge becuase this stupid bitch was smoking a joint while driving and not paying attention to me in the lane nest to her.
