Cool

So I'm driving home last night with my girl thru Pitkin Ave(not a good area) in Brooklyn to get to our side of town and I get behind a silver X5 at a red light but I stop about a few car length behind to get a peek into this ghetto ass chinese restuarant. I wouldn't have noticed but girl mentions that my Xenon HIDs are hitting him right at the level where the light goes into the cabin and bounces off the rear view mirror and light up his face. Whn I look I saw his whole headliner, rear head rest and windshield was lit up wit white light from my Euros ..so I move up a little. All good I supposed.
The light turns green and we go. I'm talking to my girl and not really paying attention...anyway the X5 sort of stops short on the road and the guy does a half ass job of pulling over cause he's still blocking the road and its not really the time of night or neighborhood to be stuck in traffic...so I did what anyone would do and honk and highbeamd him before zipping around..thinking that he would at least be careful if he was exiting his SUV as I sped around him...anyway I pass him but he starts up real fast behind me and reaches me at a stop sign. I notice the moron also has bright white Xenon HIDs and they project light up to the level of my rearview mirrors since the X5 is a taller vehicle than the 318i ...I'm blinded but the ass clown decides tp throws his highbeams on me and keeps them on making it unbearable for me... and he slowly inches up to my bumper and honks...so I speed off and speeds off with me, My girl is panicking; screaming she don't want to die...I'm thinking shit my 318i can't out run a 4.4liter X5...At that very moment my thoughts came back to this forum and all the tiimes you guys ragged on my slow ass 318i and for the first time in my adult life I wish I was driving an M3 or faster car.

....Anyway this moron is right on my tail all the way to my neighborhood ...I'm about to tell my girl to call 911 beacuse I didn't want this guy following me into my driveway and shit...

I get an idea. I pass my house and turn into the next main street that is nearby....I get a good distance from him and cut in front of a bus that was taking in passengers at a bus stop and I turned the corner as the bus pulls off. So he would have to stop and let the bus pass.

Around the corner I hit my brakes and park in front of a big ass Lincoln Navigator and turn all my lights off....a minute later the X5 roars around the corner and flies by. Now I pull out only keeping my foglights and my DRLs on...but there is a Chevy Caprice between us so I had to get around that...I really wanted to see his license plates...I get behind him at a stop sign as my girl is writing the plates down and I'm like lets have some fun now....so I flip my HIDs/and my Hgh beams on him and start honking...The fcuker took off and I chased him all the way to the next red light but he ran it a second before it turned and I kept on his ass blinking my High beams on him...

I must say at this point I realized how agile and fast the X5 when it comes to driving thru an urban landscape...anyway my girl was yelling at me to stop....but I only managed to follow and flash him for 2 blocks before I turned off to a side street...by then the fcuker was gone....

 We got home in one peace and I reflected on the whole situation and then I realize that maybe the whole time the poor sap was only trying to tell me that my HIDs where aimed too high...which is why he pulled over in the first place... used...So I could imagine how scared he was when he saw I was following him...

Also tonight confirmed this theory because when I was driving home oncoming traffic kept flashing me...I just now checked my HID Projector beam level and saw that it was unusually aimed higher than it should on both sides Its as if they adjusted themselves... used

man, thats funny stuff. The question still stands though. If the guy just wanted to tell you your lights were too high, would he chase you for a few blocks, out of his way just for that? I haven't met anyone who would, but then again i haven't driven in New York. I like how you turned the tables on him though, thats great stuff.
