story begins im heading home from the newport beach area on the 405 going to the 605 when i enter the 605 i notice these lights coming up real fast in my rearview mirror and im already doing close to 100. so i wait and i notice its a lexus es...not sure if its the 300 or 400...or whatever. anyways so he flys by me and i catch up to him and we're doing about 110 i hammer it and i immediately start to walk away from him. by the time im doing 125 ive got about 4-5 car lengths in between me and him when i hit 135 ive almost doubled the distance. and so i shut it down at this point and slow down to a sane speed. about a mile later he trys to run me again and flys past me doing about 100 so i drop down to 4th and catch up and proceed to rip him a new one in 5th this time i take it up to about 135 again and he kept up a little bit better except this time he got stuck in a pack of cars...and i always flashed my hazards to let him know it was over. anyways he tried to roll on me once more and this time i decided to really let him have it i took my car all the way up to 140 on a straightaway and then he flashed his highbeams(what does that mean?) anyways i took it as a "i give up" so i flash my hazards and slow down and i notice that ive made it home from newport beach in about 15 minutes

damn 140? don't you have the limiter set at 128 mph? nice story nonetheless.

call me crazy, but i love the ES300, it's the smoothest, most comfortable cruiser. i was with my friend in one, it's his mom's car, and that thing rides so nice and quiet, it's not sporty but it's not suposed to be.
