900

So before I get flamed for being a bad and wreckless driver hear me out.

First night of rain / below 32 degree weather here in Atlanta.

I was comin home from the pool hall with my buddy and we're on the parkway. I was traveling about 65 MPH (its not a big highway) and I hit a patch of black ice :!

Ya, oh shit was my response too because I have new front tires but haven't replaced the rears yet (about 25% tread) and yea it was really *^&$ing scary.

I tried to correct it but she was already goin' so all i could do was do my best to keep it from going off the road and I suceeded. Travelled about 100 feet before I stopped and luckily no one was around.

I consider myself a good driver but I learned a new lesson tonight.

Oh and btw I stopped about 2 inches from a guard rail!

Thanks!

It definetely was wild, the biggest adrenaline rush I've ever experienced. After I spun out though people were passing like nothing was wrong eventhough I'm facing them in oncoming traffic! :

WTF is wrong with this world...

Yeh, in RI we get a lot of snow and could, so you get used to it. Its fun to play around when your on little 25mph steets. You can drift into turns and pull U turns like your Colin McRey. But when you start to lose it on the highway going 90 (not that I ever did that ) thats when the fun stops, especialy when you are not ready for it.

But I still LOVE snow.

Yeah, it definetely is fun to take the car out and mess around, but I definetely wasn't ready for it, don't have snow tires, etc. Lemme say it was a bit overwhelming! B)

Funny thing is that I'm in GA, stuff like that isn't supposed to happen!
