Monday we went to Lexington KY for a doctors appointment, i pulled up to a red light and up next to me pulled a very nice looking Black PT Cruiser, it had a gold bank logo on the side. I thought the car looked nice, he begins to rev his engine, i look over and it a guy in his early sixties and he wants to run me? This in town, but a nice double lane area heading in from Hwy 60 toward U.K. or downtown. There wasn't much traffic, so why not! The light changed an he got the jump on me, it was fast of the line! I noticed it said GT Turbo? I floored it and off we went, he was about on to one and a half car lengths ahead, when I hit about 3200 rpm that BMW rev sound got loud and I hit my power band caught him just at the next light and it was green. So I kept going, it wound mine engine out to about 6800 rpm and put some distance between us! I was about three car lengths ahead and he dropped back, I call it a kill

I didn't know there was such a thing as a PT Cruiser Turbo GT? Evidently they are 2.4 liter turbo with an intercooler!
Chrysler PT Cruiser turbo - otherwise called the Chrysler GT Cruiser Now that caught me off gaurd, but I won!
The next PT cruiser that pulls up and wants to race, will get it from the get go. I thought it was a joke, but he knew what he was driving!
P.S. If you want people to race, just put tribal graphics and a wing on your bimmer, everyone want to try you and the cops want to check you out! I have been pulled over more times in the last three months, than I have in all my twenty five years of driving? I am considering removing the Chrome tribal graphics, painting the wing black and putting a white BMW Logo on the wing end cap? Maybe it will be a more subtle appearance?
