Driving home the other night, cruising down the main street in Rik-Town.There is this Dodge Stealth thing hanging in behind me a lane over, there is a honda behind us both. We are going maybe 35 MPH, he all of a sudden down shifts and nails it. He came up sort of fast on my right side from about 5 car lengths back and when he got to two I hit it. I was in 4th gear at the time so I didn't accelerate too fast, he got next to me I looked over at him and he had a smug look on his face.
Mind you we were going maybe 40 now, I dropped to 2nd gear for a second and the engine with the Dinan CAI opened up and screamed! I popped into 3rd nice a nd fast and was already going over 60, he was quite far behind me, trying to pass a car. I ran it to 80 then shut down and hit the brakes. He pulls up at the next red light and says " yeah I knew you had me", I just pointed forward and said lets do it from a stop, he was kind of unsure, even more so when the light turned green, I revved it to 5K and dumped the clutch, the car sat there for a second and made some smoke, I looked at him and he looked SCARED! It was comical the look on his face, mean while the honda is normally driving past us as I am sitting and spinning and this guy is about to shit himself. The two ladies in the front gave a smile and then the car hooked up and shot out like it as rocket powered!!! It slid a bit as I pulled away from him, I ran it to 80 or so then just slowed down and drove normal. He turned off at the next possible street.
Stealth, 4 DOOR OWNED. 1 more for the growing list.

Nice ownage story.
. . . however, if you were to ever race my Mustang by dumping your clutch and spinning for a second while looking over at me, you would not see me looking scared. You would see my taillights about 5 car lengths ahead of you.

I can't quite remember now as it's een a few days but as I recall I revved the engine to redline real fast as the light was getting ready to change, the M3 sounds like a fukin banshee with the Dinan CAI on it when you rev it up. He looked over as the light was changing and I was warming them up....that's my best guess! LOL!
I hear you, my friend has just bought a big bad ass dedicated mustang drag car, it is suppsoed to do 8's or something. he had a 5.0 LX awhile back, it had alot done to it, we would smoke camaros etc all night long, that car was wicked fast!
But it's still a mustang. I don't care how much power etc, it's mass produced mustang. I'm not getting on a high horse or anythign with my little M3, but I gotta call em as I see em.
