So a guy I know at work has aa 2004 tiburon with these specs- 2997 lbs, 138hp/ 132trq. He says he has a 75 dry shot of nos on it. My car 3080 lbs. 189 hp/181trq. Now I have two questions, 1. Do you think I could take him? 2. He claims his car does 12.9-13.2 in the 1/4. (BS imo) comments?

If the car is otherwise stock... I would call BS on that. A 95 M3 doesn't do the 1/4 that fast and it has a ton more trq and power that available the whole time. He can't shoot the nitrous until he's gotten decently moving so he's losing a lot of time in that 1st 60 feet since he doesn't have any power to speak of.
found the times for the 95 M3:
1995 BMW M3 6.2 14.6
I dont know if that means you can take him or not, but i'd say his times are BS.
2. Why is your car still at 189? Modify it already!

Well Walsru, I do plan on just doing it, but we work different schedules so it kinda hard to meet up on our free time, but I'm trying. And also if you checked my garage it lists my mods. Not alot but I have a TMS chip and a CAI. I just use those specs cause I don't want to claim numbers that I'm not sure of.
