my car has just had it's last run I was hammering down the m3 to southampton and I was at 100mph then the engine cut power and slipped into get you home mode so I slow down and pull over as I stop I see smoke coming from under the bonnet I get out and have a look and all I see is oil all over the engine bay oh s**t I say so I look for the problem I find that the oil pump had exploded so Ive got it towed to my garage and tomorrow I will pull the engine and see if it can be saved I hate to say it 50/50 chane the engine has had it
good news the block and head are fine but the oil pump is in the bin what happened was when my dad tuned the engine he did not change the oil pump and because the engine has been running A higher oil temperature then the norm the oil pump blew so Ive ordered custom made racing oil pump and cooler I will fit that and that's that
the engine back in and filled with oil and I drove it home just now the oil temp is 10 degrees cooler it runs smother and sounds meaner because it put a racing manifold on well the engine was out so it what my dad had lying round the shop he was going to fit but he kind of dead
that is a very interesting story but punctuation is your friend especially because it makes things very hard to read when everything is one huge run on sentence but i am gald your spelling is better than your punctuation and i am also glad your car is not totally dead this is actually very hard to fight the urge to use punctuation how the heck can anyone possibly type like this on a regular basis it is beyond me well i am off ciao
