SOLD Euro M6 Dinan 3.9L 330HP Silver, just beautiful...

SOLD

1984 Dinan Euro M6
M635

Dinan Stroker Engine 3.9 liter, Dinan performance chip
330 HP, 334 lb-ft torque
55,000 miles on rebuilt engine, 122k
Close ratio 5 Speed

More pictures & info
BAR sticker,(proper US DOT-EPA homologation), California smog, Full service just done (valves & all oils & fluids)
Exhaust: I have the exhaust pipes flanged after the header collector to allow easy removal & reinstall of the catalytic converter, the car runs better without it & it was designed to run without one. (Catalytic converter is included).
Personnal opinion on engine: If you are familiar with the M6, it has a fairly short power curve (only in the higher RPM), with the Dinan 3.9Liter you get substantial torque at lower RPM that fills in before the 330 horsepower just quick in, think of it as a turbocharged engine without lag.

Exterior:
Beautiful Polaris silver paint in excellent shape.
This car was always garaged and/or under cover and it shows.
People are amazed at the paint when they find out it is 21 years old and the car is being driven.
The front has the expected pitting from the road and the spoiler has the few expected scratches, but it is what makes this car an original.
There is a scratch on the trunk that was touched up with Polaris BMW paint, and the sunroof clearcoat has some scratch/blemishes from the sun.
Otherwise it is in great condition

Interior:
Grey-Blackcombo leather interior in perfect shape, Grey leather sports seats
Dash in perfect shape, not a single crack
Back speakers covers in perfect shape.
BMW M Motorsports Steering wheel, Lighted window switches & M Motorsports shift knob
BMW Floor mats, Not smoked in, never allowed my kid's skateboards in (mom's Ford excursion is for that!)

AC: Ice cold A/C: Just converted less than 50 miles ago. A hose blew up, I had the option to refill it or spent the money on converting to the new AC: You guessed it: I spent the $ and converted it...

Power windows, power sunroof, power mirrors: all work great (some swicthes & relays were changed)

SONY AM/FM with 6 CD changer, Denon amplifier in trunk: works great, has additional speakers under the rear seats facing forward: decent sound (i like the engine sound better!)

Books & Records since 1994, (see below)

ABS, Bistein shocks,

Complete tool set.
Complete Repair Manuals & Books

17" BBS RN wheels and Michelin Pilot tires all in perfect shape, no rim scratches or curb rashes.
For this car, 17" is the best combination, still allowing some comfort by not having too low profile of a tire.

If you are looking for a Euro M6, this one is the perfect combination of grace, power, best color combination, pedigree you can find.
There are some others but these cars should not be tuned or handled by your local jiffy lube mechanic.
This car has had reputable mechanics only working on it, it is a good feeling when your own BMW mechanic M specialist tells you: " this is the nicest euro M6 I have ever test driven"....

Why am I selling it? too many toys, but more importantly I work in a city where I cannot drive it, I am always afraid of parking it & "door bangers", pot holes, never valet parking it, so it has become a Sunday morning car, now it is time for another enthusiast to enjoy it.
