BMW's 1 Series M Coupe was a no-show at the recent Paris Auto Show – probably because it was out on the town. A selection of new photos released by BMW show the new sports car revealing just a little more of its aggressive bodywork including part of the rear bumper, exhaust pipes and aggressive diffuser.
Set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show, the 1 Series M Coupe's design mimics that of the E92 M3 but with sharper angles and even larger fender vents. Plus, flared fenders make room for larger wheels, while a slightly raised hood hints at the power below. There's no confirmation on the engine, but it's expected to be a modified N54 turbocharged inline-six making around 350-hp.
BMW is expected to announce that just 2700 versions of the car will be produced.
